Using Mental Capacity to Enhance Spiritual Capacity

There are several Bible verses that stand out to me as being hard to believe, but powerful once I do believe it. One such verse is John 14:12, which says “whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” For a long time, I questioned this. How could I do greater works than Jesus? No one can do that! However, over the years I have learned that if the Bible says it, it’s true. And, it’s Jesus Himself who said it!

This is a hard concept for many people to grasp. The struggle is the same as it was for me. After reading about all of the great miracles Jesus did, it is just too difficult to imagine myself or anyone doing greater things. However, here is how it happens… Because Jesus went to the Father, He sent His spirit to us. This spirit is the very spirit of God. The great thing about it (one of many great things) is that this spirit is everywhere all the time. During His time on earth, Jesus in His human form had the same time and space limits as we do. However, this spirit of God lives in us, and it moves with us wherever we go. It’s power is omnipresent and without limit, so there is nothing it can’t do!

The bottom line is that our spiritual capacity is unlimited. We can do all things through this spirit. We have everything we could ever need through this same spirit. That is a fact that is outlined in many different places in the Bible. So why do we seem to lack the power we need? Why don’t we see more of this power in action in our lives? It is simply because of a lack of belief in it. What we need to do is to open up our mental capacity to free the unlimited spiritual capacity. We need to believe that we walk in unison with the unlimited, omnipresent spirit of God.

You may be asking now, OK, great! This is great to know. But how do we use our mental means to unleash the unlimited spiritual power that’s in and around us? I believe there are many ways. However, here are the main ones that work for me and have really brought a greater awareness of and has helped to maximize the great power of God that is available to us. I have included links to articles I have written about each in case you would like more detailed information about them…

  1. Get to know the word of God. This is important, and will help even more with the other ideas I will mention. The more you know what God says about you, His truths, and His character, the more your faith is developed. I suggest a New Testament reading plan to get started (there are many great Bible apps that have these), or whatever works best for you. The more you learn about the words and messages of the Bible, the more empowered you will be.
  2. Positive Affirmations. – Affirmations are words and phrases you repeat to yourself on a regular basis. As you continue to say them, they start to sink in to your subconscious mind. They replace any negative, untruthful thoughts, and you start to believe them. And as you believe them, you act on them.Your current beliefs were formed by words that were repeated by others or yourself. In this case you’re just doing it deliberately with thoughts that you want to believe.
  3. Hypnosis – I will be writing more about this topic in the near future. In the past, I have used hypnosis to make positive life changes. I have recently re-discovered its power and benefits, and it can really be used in a positive way to change your thinking and develop the faith necessary for an empowering life.
  4. Visualization – This is another form of hypnosis, it’s just usually done in a more awake state. Like hypnosis and affirmations, the goal is to change the dominant thoughts of the subconscious mind that ultimately determine your actions.

A very effective practice I have learned is to combine your knowledge with the powerful word of God with some of these mind altering methods. Constantly repeat some of your favorite Bible verses. Visualize yourself being empowered and making great impacts by utilizing some of the great ideas of the Bible. See yourself accomplishing great things in the power of the spirit.

I will say once again that your spiritual capacity is unlimited. The key to maximizing that unlimited power is getting your mind right, and using its capacity to align with the spiritual. That allows you to do even greater things than Jesus. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Using the Heart For Manifestation

July 6, 2020

The heart is one of the most powerful parts of the body. Most would obviously associate it with keeping the blood circulating in the body. After all, when the heart stops working, so does our body. People also associate the heart with our feelings, especially that of love. In some respects, you can relate the heart with manifesting desires because our feelings help with rapid manifestation. However, I would say that manifestation of our goals and desires is most often connected with thoughts that come from the mind, not the heart. However, I present a question to you. Are heart and mind actually connected in some way?

I read a very interesting article the other day that shows a connection between heart and mind. It is titled “Your Heart is Your Subconscious Mind.” I highly recommend checking it out. The main idea of the article is that the ideas of the heart, especially those used in the Bible, are referring to the subconscious mind. In essence, the heart and subconscious are one and the same. As I’ve mentioned on this site many times, the subconscious is the part of your mind that controls your beliefs. Your beliefs ultimately control your actions, which ultimately control your results. If you want to change your results, you need to change the beliefs you have in your subconscious.

Let’s discuss this further. In the article, the author says there are over 5,000 scriptures that reference the heart. He suggests substituting the word heart for subconscious mind. I tried this and found it very powerful. Here are some examples. Proverbs 23:7 says “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Isn’t it true that as a man thinks in his subconscious mind so is he? Remember, that is where man’s deepest beliefs are, and those beliefs are ultimately who he becomes. If he believes he is or even can be successful, he will be. If he thinks he is poor or a loser, that’s how his life will turn out. Let’s try some more. One I’ve shared about lately is from Proverbs 4:23. It says to “guard your heart (subconscious mind) above all else, for it determines your life.” The idea I’ve presented several times already can’t get more clear than that. The quality of your subconscious mind determines the quality of your life. Make sure you guard your mind diligently, only allowing the thoughts that will enhance that quality you desire in your life.

You may have heard the verse “create in me a clean heart” from Psalm 51. David prayed this after committing a major sin. It would make sense that he is asking God to clean out of his subconscious mind all unclean thoughts, so he won’t act on them and sin again. Mark 11:23 is a powerful verse about faith… “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart (subconscious mind) but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” In other words, if you believe something to be true in your subconscious mind, it will be true in manifested form in your life. One more I will reference is Proverbs 3:5… “Trust in the Lord with all your heart(subconscious mind); do not depend on your own understanding.” When the assurance of God’s presence, peace, and love are embedded in your mind and held as a firm belief, you live your life accordingly and experience great joy, love, and success as He “makes your paths straight” as noted in the next verse. There are plenty of other excellent verses you can make this substitution with. Here are 100 Bible verses about the heart.

Hopefully, you can see that this connection with the heart and subconscious mind makes total sense. How can you use this information to manifest your desires? Your main task is to make sure your heart (subconscious mind) is right. Guard it diligently. Only allow thoughts that will embed ideas of success, joy, positivity, peace, and whatever you are seeking in life to live deep in your subconscious. When thoughts and beliefs are held there, the corresponding manifestations are automatic, and often effortless. You do need to take action, but those actions are also automatic and natural, and you will barely feel like you are doing any work if your faith is strong enough. There are several ways you can plant positive and empowering thoughts in the garden of your subconscious mind. The ones I have used successfully are visualization, positive affirmations, and hypnosis. I will provide links to how you can use those methods below.

5 Step Visualization Process

How to Make Your Affirmations Believable

The Power of Hypnosis…And What It Can Do For You

I was really challenged by the article I shared with you. Indeed, I believe you can make references to the heart synonymous with the subconscious mind. When you have a belief (whether it’s positive or negative) in your subconscious mind, it always manifests in your outer world. You have full control of what’s allowed to enter your heart. Let it be filled with thoughts of how great life would be if you had those things, and feel the corresponding emotions. I know you will see them in your life sooner than later. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

A Faithful Way to Bring Great Results

June 24, 2020

In my study of the power of the mind, I have read many great books. There are some that I have re-read several times. One I am re-reading now is “The Power of the Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy. If you haven’t read this book, and you are seeking powerful new knowledge about the power of your mind, I strongly suggest getting a hold of this book.

As I was reading the book today, an excellent reminder stood out that I feel compelled to share. It is the concept of faith. I’ve shared often about the importance of faith, and that once your faith is strong enough, any necessary action automatically follows. I’ve also shared (and so have millions of others including Jesus) how God acts on our behalf when we have faith. The author of this book provides a very simple but powerful definition of faith. He says, “faith is accepting as true what your senses and reason deny, i.e shutting out of the little, rational, analytical, conscious mind and embracing an attitude of complete reliance on the inner power of your subconscious mind.”(p. 67). I don’t have the necessary time to review the differences between the conscious and subconscious minds, but the basic one is this… your conscious mind is your thinking and logical mind, and it is limited. Your subconscious is the part of the mind where all of your beliefs and memories are stored. It is also connected to the “mind of Christ” we are told we all have as part of us (I Corinthians 2:16). This part of our mind is unlimited.

It is the subconscious mind that enables us and leads us to manifest our desires. Our job is to make sure the subconscious believes this manifestation is possible. For once it does, it is only a matter of time before your dream is realized. One of the most powerful ways to do this is another Bible verse the author mentions in the same chapter. It’s one I share on a regular basis on this site. In fact, it’s my favorite verse in the Bible… Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours(Mark 11:24). In whatever manner you can, your greatest responsibility is to see your wish as already done. See it as already here now. See it as totally accomplished. Act as if you already have what you are seeking. When you do these things, several great things happen. First, you are having that faith that the author says is accepting as true what your senses and reason deny. Also, the Bible verse clearly states that if you believe that you have received it it will be yours!!

I understand this is sometimes easier said than done. The subconscious mind is not easily convinced of new beliefs, especially if you have had the same old negative beliefs for a long time. It may take some time, but it is possible and your beliefs will change if you are persistent. I will say this though…once your subconscious beliefs are changed, you will see the corresponding situations manifest on the outside. There are several ways I have learned to do this:

  1. Visualization. This is the easiest and most fun way to see and experience your wish as an accomplished fact. In your mind, you see yourself living your dream. You feel the corresponding emotions. You see what you want to see and do. This is powerful because the subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between a real and imagined event. As you visualize, your subconscious mind believes this is actually happening. It begins to believe its truth, thus increasing your level of faith. Remember, the Bible also says “according to your faith, it will be done for you.” (Matthew 9:29). And you are believing that you are receiving it. And you will!
  2. Positive Affirmations. Instead of using images to change your subconscious mind, with affirmations you use words. Most of your current beliefs have been developed by words, either things others told you or you told yourself. With positive affirmations, you are doing this purposely.
  3. Hypnosis. Sometimes, it is difficult to maintain the necessary focus to get the maximum effects from visualization. And sometimes your mind fights back with your current beliefs when you try to change them with affirmations. When you use hypnosis, you are putting yourself in a deeply relaxed state. More importantly, you are shutting out your conscious mind and all of its rational beliefs based only on your senses. Instead, it leaves your subconscious mind open to suggestion without fighting it. In a hypnotic state, you are much more able to change those subconscious beliefs. Once that happens, you start living out the new beliefs, the ones you want to see happen.

I realize I am not providing a wealth of detailed information on these topics. I have written about each one in far more detail in other articles and books. You can click on the links I have provided here and check out my book links on this webpage as well for more detailed info about them.

The bottom line is that, in order to change your outer circumstances, you must first change your inner circumstances. When your subconscious mind believes something to be true, then it is, and you will soon experience its truth. Remember to accept your wish as true, even though your senses and logical mind deny it. Believe in your mind that you already have what you desire, and act accordingly. Act with the gratitude and joy you would have if you actually experienced it with our senses. That is true faith. God promises that it is yours if you believe it. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

The One Absolutely Necessary Ingredient For Rapid Manifestation

June 8, 2020

Everyone wants to manifest their greatest desires as quickly as possible, myself included. There are several ways to make that happen. However, there is one factor that stands out as the most necessary for the rapid manifestation of your goals and living the life you want to live.

What is that necessary element? One word describes it. It’s called belief. When you believe that what you desire is on its way to you, that’s when you will see it manifest. On the other hand, if you don’t believe, it takes much longer for your desire to be realized.

Two of my favorite Bible verses attest to this. I was reminded of one recently, which is what inspired me to write this article. It is Matthew 21:22 which says, “and if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” It doesn’t get any simpler or more obvious than that. Now, some people get caught up in a religious tangle with this verse. They argue back, “yeah but only if it’s God’s will.” I can understand that argument. After all, God’s will is more significant than anything in my life or yours. However, I get around this in two ways. First of all, I see the word anything in some versions of this verse. The version I used says “whatever you ask for.” I feel like as long as I am asking for something that God would approve of, I’m right to ask. As long as I’m not asking for something that goes against His word, I’m not wrong to ask. I also know that God has our best interests in mind. God has said no to my prayers before. However, I know my prayers were still answered. That’s because EVERY TIME a particular prayer was rejected, I received something far better than I could have imagined. The same is true for you. In the case that God doesn’t allow a particular desire to manifest for you, know that something even better is coming for you. However, don’t get caught up in whether God may answer your wish or not. Just know and believe that He can.

Another verse that shows the importance of belief for the rapid manifestation of desires is Mark 11:24. This verse actually has the same context as the previous one. It is worded differently, but the concept is the same… “therefore I tell you, everything that you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” This is my favorite verse in the entire Bible because it takes the concept of belief and faith to a higher level. Not only do you believe that God can do what you’re asking, you’re believing that it’s already done! Since it’s already done, it’s just a matter of time until it manifests. This kind of belief indeed accelerates the process!

How do you fix the belief in your mind that it’s already done? I often discuss the concepts of visualization and affirmations at this site. When you use visual images to picture your life as it would be with your manifested desire, or speak words of confirmed completion and feel the corresponding emotions, you are creating the necessary belief to shorten the timeline of your goal’s arrival.

This is a topic I will continue to discuss with future posts, but I wanted to share one more key idea. The Bible also says “faith without works is dead” which means that we have to take action in addition to maintaining a high level of belief. So why is faith necessary? It’s because you are much more likely to act if you are confident that something can be done successfully. I know this is true in my own case. When I don’t have a strong belief that I can do something successfully, I am much more likely to procrastinate and hesitate to take the necessary action. When it comes to things I know I can do and I have the strong belief that I will be successful, I have no problem finding the time and taking action to complete the task. I have also learned that, when my level of faith and belief is high, the corresponding actions occur naturally. I don’t feel like I’m forcing anything or working. Everything seems to flow so much more easily. When you think and act with the belief that your desire is already done, you tend to act with greater confidence, which also enhances the quality of whatever action your taking, thus helping the visual results appear much quicker.

Remember, God will grant you whatever you ask for in prayer (or something better) if you believe. Believe that He can bless you and that he definitely wants to bless you abundantly (God delights in the prosperity of His servant – Psalm 35:27). Your job is to simply believe this, and the fact that anything you desire is already an accomplished fact. Visualize this, proclaim it, and feel joyful and thankful. Keep attentive in prayer to determine what further steps you need to take, and move in that direction. I have seen the amazing results of this process in my own life, and I know you will too. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

The Powerful Start to a Positive Attitude

November 22, 2015

This article is another in a series I am writing about the positive attitude attributes found on the self-reflection report card in Jeffrey Gitomer’s book “The Little Golden Book of Yes”.

In my opinion, this one is where it all starts. It is the concept of self-belief. The definition of self-belief I found through various sources is the confidence in one’s self and trust in their own abilities. Another one added, “the belief you can do things well”.

It makes sense that a positive attitude and positive results start with the belief and trust in one’s abilities. The more you believe and trust and in yourself, the more likely your attitude and outlook on life will be good. When your attitude is positive, it leads you to take the necessary action towards your goals instead of finding reasons why you can’t.

One question often asked is by those who especially have lacked self-belief during their lives. It is often very difficult to just turn on the switch and start believing in one’s self when life has been filled with one doubt and failure after the other. There are many ways to change this attitude. For this article, I will provide my thoughts and share a very helpful article from another author.

One giant step to developing self-belief is to know who you really are. I have been reminded of this constantly in the past year and a half. Yes, you are a body, frail that it might be, that is on this earth for approximately 80 years. However, according to the Bible, within that body is the kingdom of Heaven itself. The very power that runs the universe dwells within each one of us. This Godly power never fails. Even if you have failed countless times (I know I sure have), the God within you NEVER fails. When you rely on this all-knowing, all-powerful energy and guidance, your doubts and failures will quickly turn to faithful victories. Don’t let anyone tell you that it’s impossible or you can’t do it. Know that the God power within you can guide you and make it happen. Isn’t it a great peace to know that it’s not all up to you? Knowing this in itself is a great step to self-belief. When you turn to your “God-self”, you can’t go wrong.

In addition to realizing that the God of the universe dwells in you and has your life completely in control (if you let Him), I found another source of excellent information. This article, “7 Steps to Self-Belief” is a great guide to turning your attitude around and enhancing your self-belief. Even following some of them will help you.

I will say once again that I can’t think of any better first step in improving your attitude than self-belief. Even if you’ve never had it before, you can make positive changes today. Know that the kingdom of Heaven dwells in you, and spend time each day motivating yourself, changing the negative voice inside your head, and visualizing the success you desire. You can do whatever you set out to do. You just need to believe it. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Jumpstart Your Success

November 5, 2015

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am beginning a series of articles on positive attitude attributes found in Jeffrey Gitomer’s book, “The Little Golden Book of Yes”. I am taking 22 yes attitude attributes from his self-reflection and report card section of the book. You can rate yourself on the level of your positive attitude you have by giving yourself a score of 1-5 for each. I have made it a point to get 5 for as many of them as possible each day.

The first attribute I will discuss is a logical one to jumpstart your success. It is quite simple, yet sometimes easier said than done. However, making this a key habit can make a major difference in your level of success each day. The simple attribute is to start EVERY day on a positive note. Begin the day immediately with thoughts of success and how you will excel. Here are some ways to accomplish this each day:

  • Gratitude – Immediately reflect on the things you are thankful for in life. It can be anything from health and protection, your family, money (no matter how much or little you have), and basics like food, clothing, electricity, or whatever you place your mental focus on.
  • Affirmations – Affirm positive words and phrases to yourself to set and maintain a positive frame of mind. I often do this in the shower first thing in the morning to help wake myself up and fill my mind with positive reminders.
  • Visualize your day – I find it very helpful to determine what I need to do to be successful that day. Then, usually as I enjoy my breakfast and coffee, I visualize myself succeeding in those endeavors throughout the day.
  • Determine how you can be a blessing – On many occasions, opportunities to bless others arrive spontaneously. However, when I think in advance of things I can do to be a blessing to others, it keeps me in that state of mind to look for ways I can give to others and take them to a higher level.
  • Pray – I spend my 20 minute drive to work with no radio, music, or any type of distraction. The time is spent in prayer for a successful day for me and those close to me. This alone can be a powerful way to begin a successful day.

These are just some suggestions of how you can begin each day on a positive note. I understand that sometimes you know from the beginning that the day will be difficult to face. However, instead of dreading it and going into it with a negative attitude, prepare yourself right away for success, knowing that you can overcome any obstacle with the right frame of mind. Set yourself up for success by immediately filling your mind with positive thoughts at the start of each day. Once this becomes a regular habit, it will become as natural as anything else in your morning routine. Even better, it will add more success and joy to your life, and it contagiously translates to others as well. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

With God All Things Are Possible

August 31, 2015

With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Do you believe this today? For many of you, it is easy to answer yes. However, I will ask again…do you really believe this? I ask because of my own response. I firmly believe that through God all things are possible. If you asked me this question I would say yes without hesitation. Yet, as much as my faith has grown in leaps and bounds in the past few years, my actions don’t always indicate my belief in this powerful concept.

I know that all things are possible with God. Yet why do I still hold back at times? Why do I still doubt? If you are asking yourself those same questions, you are not alone. However, if you want to experience the greatness that God has for you, it is time to start not only believing this verse, but living it.

A great wake up call for me was when I read a quote from someone (I cannot recall the source) that said we have two choices of who to believe…God or the devil. He said that when one doubts, they are in essence believing the devil’s lies over God’s truth. Of course, this shook me to the core. I didn’t want to be accused of siding with the devil, but I didn’t have to think about it long to realize I was doing that every time I doubted. When I doubted, I was completely disregarding this verse I said I believed. I knew I had to act quickly and start believing the Father of all possibility instead of the father of lies.

There are two main ways I started to bring my mind to focus on all possibility instead of doubt:

  1. Besides the above verse, I found as many verses as I could about faith and the promises of God. Here is an excellent list… 15 Verses on What The Bible Says About All Things Are Possible The more you focus on God and His wonderful promises, the more your faith increases, and the less you believe the devil’s lies.
  2. Affirmation and visualization – I often share about the power of repeating positive phrases and visualizing these situations in my mind. The more your subconscious mind hears these words, sees the beautiful pictures, and feels the powerful emotions, the more it is convinced of its truth.

I will ask again…do you believe that with God all things are possible? If you do, let it show in your actions as you move confidently and successfully through your day. If you don’t, follow the steps above and let its truth sink into your mind. Then the confident actions will occur automatically, and your faith will grow exponentially. Every desire and goal you can imagine is a true possibility. Just believe it, and watch it manifest before your eyes. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Can Reaching Your Goals Be This Simple?

March 7, 2015

believe in myself

I share often on this space about formulas to rapidly manifest your goals and doing what it takes to make it happen. I believe strongly in these formulas. I have written books about them and use them regularly in my own life.

There are times when I start over-complicating things. You may do the same. Instead of sticking with the basics, you think you need to get fancy and go over the edge to make things happen. You then get frustrated when you remain stuck, even with this extra effort.

I was reminded today of the importance of keeping things as simple as possible. I was reading part of a book called “Three Magic Words”. It was actually two magic words that stood out…thought and faith. I share often how powerful your thoughts are and how you can shape your life by controlling them. Yet as much as I know about the topic, I still sometimes get into the habit of making things much more complicated than they should be.

It is amazing how, by keeping your thoughts positive, you invite positive situations into your outer world. Combine these positive thoughts with the faith that you can achieve it, and you have a combination like no other. You don’t have to look beyond this or do anything crazy. As often as you can, check-in with what you are thinking. Are you focusing on what you desire? Are you feeling as though you already have it? Do you know without a doubt that you are worthy of receiving it?

The key is to focus squarely on what you want. Keep it locked in your imagination and don’t give any thought to what is or could be holding you back. Know that if God is for you no one can be against you and that all things are possible to him or her who believes.

You may be asking, aren’t I supposed to take some kind of action as well? I can’t just wish my way towards my dreams. You are correct. However, it’s amazing how when you focus on the feeling of already living your dream and demonstrating the faith of its inevitable realization, the motivation to act and knowledge of what to do is engrained. It happens almost automatically. It doesn’t seem like drudgery or hard work.

I recommend keeping this as simple as possible today. Focus on the basics of positive thought and faith. It’s amazing how far just these concepts can take you. There are things you can do like affirmations and visualization to speed up the process, but just by focusing on these two things…positive thought and faith…you can quickly move yourself to the life you desire. I am full confident of this fact. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

I’m Having Brain Surgery

February 13, 2015

I very much appreciate your concern. I will admit that I am not getting real brain surgery, and I’m totally OK. Instead, I am going through the major process of purging negative thoughts and removing the blocks that are holding me back from living the ultimate life I am meant to live.

It’s like that for everyone. Many of us have mental blocks that hold us back. Those blocks are formed from various memories from earlier parts of our life. Unfortunately they cause us to believe we can’t accomplish our goals. We feel like we’re not good enough, not worthy, we are meant to be overweight and unhealthy, we’ll never make enough money, we’ll never find the ideal partner. It’s all because of these negative beliefs that have been engrained into our minds.

The key is to remove those blocks. Now please don’t go out and sign up for the next brain surgery appointment. Instead, do your own brain surgery. You can indeed remove those blocks that are holding you back from realizing your dreams. How? There are several ways you can do it. One is through displacement. You continually visualize positive scenes of what you desire. See it happening and feel the positive emotions of having what you want. The more you do this, the more your subconscious (which can’t tell the difference between a real or imagined event) believes it and you replace the negative thoughts that hold you back with positive empowering ones.

Another way I’ve used, especially lately, is hypnosis. This is the most powerful and effective way to remove limiting beliefs. I have used it to remove fears, develop confidence, and even heal injuries, and it has worked in every case. The key is to get yourself in a very relaxed state and get deep into your mind to figure out exactly what is holding you back, and replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.

I have learned to do self-hypnosis over the years. However, if you don’t believe you can hypnotize yourself, there are many resources that can help you:

  • Binaural Beats – These are available online or even on your smartphone. Binaural beats are used to put your mind in a state to either relax you or stimulate you depending on what you want to accomplish. For hypnosis they put your mind in a state that connects you with your subconscious mind and helps you accept new ideas easier. I use an app called Binaural Beats therapy beta by Giorgio Regni. I like this one because, besides the fact that it works, you can choose the situation you desire and it provides the matching beats.
  • Joseph Clough Complete Confidence course – I have been utilizing the services of this hypnotist often lately, and it is changing my life by the day. In part 3 of his 11 part confidence course, he has a powerful hypnosis which is the best I’ve ever used for “surgically” removing negative blocks and replacing them with empowering and faithful ones. I recommend you listen to this program. The hypnosis starts about halfway through it. You can access this and the entire course with the Joseph Clough smartphone app.

These are just some ways you can get started in performing your own brain surgery to remove unwanted thoughts and beliefs. If you want to go even further, I recommend this course by Joseph Clough to remove these beliefs even quicker, and move you towards your dream life much sooner than later. Can Thinking of What You Don’t Want Help You?

November 3, 2014

If you know anything about positive thinking and the Law of Attraction, you know that negative thinking is not very helpful. This is because when you focus on what you don’t want, you attract more of it into your life. One of the main keys to rapid manifestation is to focus positively on what you want. That’s how you are most likely going to see it happen.

It is very important to maintain positive thoughts. However, I’ve recently been presented several takes on the importance of knowing exactly what it is that you DON’T want. Why? Because everything you don’t want has an exact opposite….that is what you DO want. I was reminded that when you know exactly what you don’t want, it helps bring to mind what you do want. I tried this, and here’s an example of how easy it is. At this time in my life, I don’t want to work two stressful, unfulfilling jobs as I do now. This reminds me that what I DO want is a job that allows me more freedom, more income, and greater fulfillment. I can take it a step further by being even more specific. I want to work from home doing something that brings greater joy and positivity to thousands of people.

Once I realize this, I focus my thoughts on this goal. I visualize myself enjoying the extra freedom and income this job provides. I feel the joy of knowing that God is using me to bring happiness and fulfillment to many others. In as much detail and clarity, I replay these positive scenes in my mind and feel the immense joy of this mental movie.

The next step is to act on opportunities to make it happen. I don’t force the issue. I simple seek answers and solutions then act on this inspiration with the joy and peace of knowing that it is leading me closer to the goal.

As mentioned, dwelling on negative thoughts and what we don’t want is not helpful, and only pulls you further away from what you really want. However, I share with you what I have learned…the fact that at times it is important to think about what we don’t want and use that to become completely clear about what we do want. Then we take the necessary steps in that direction.

I ask you…how do you deal with negative thoughts when they arise? I would love for you to comment and share. It would certainly help me and anyone reading this. I thank you in advance and wish you tremendous blessings 🙂
