A Two Word Prayer That Creates Miracles

If only there was a magic word or phrase you could use in prayer to produce power and blessing in your life. It would be nice, right?

What if I told you there were two simple words you can use in your prayers to create the success and blessings you are seeking? I am sure you would want to know.

Due to the fact that I don’t believe in withholding information from my audience, I will gladly share. Before I do, I will tell you that these are two words you use on a regular basis. At least I hope you do 🙂

Are you ready? If you want to add great power to your prayers and increase the likelihood that you will live your dreams, use these simple words and mean them…THANK YOU! When you use these words sincerely, they are powerful in many ways. In any regular interaction, when you say thank you to someone, they feel appreciated, and it adds to your happiness as well. When you regularly say thank you to people, they want to do more for you. It’s the same when you thank God. I say all the time that I believe the more you are thankful for even the little things, the greater blessings you will receive.

In addition to the benefits of demonstrating gratitude that I mention above, I believe it goes far beyond that, especially when you pray. As mentioned, when you are thankful for what you have, you receive more. However, I have been challenged by several authors and speakers to take it a step further. It is very powerful, and I share the suggestion with you. Before your prayer has been answered and before you even have what you desire, say THANK YOU!

I have shared this concept of thank you in advance before. I have followed this advice and reaped its benefits. I was recently reminded about it again and felt the need to share. Saying thank you in advance is beneficial in several ways:

• It maintains a feeling of gratitude – Instead of focusing on the fact that you don’t have your desire yet, you focus on the joyful expectation of having it. It’s this positive feeling that brings the desire faster.
• It helps increase your faith – When you are saying thank you even though you haven’t experienced your wish yet, you are demonstrating the faith Jesus condones in Mark 11:23 when he says that if you pray and believe you already have what you desire, it will be yours.
• It motivates you to action – When you are thankful and faithful that your fulfilled wish is only a matter of time from manifesting, you are much more likely to take the action necessary to make it happen. Instead of procrastinating, you are looking for any opportunity to act and accomplish the goal sooner than later.

These are just a few ways that saying thank you and maintaining the attitude of gratitude as you pray for your desire can make it happen, and bring it about quickly. This is because it keeps your thoughts and feelings right, and provides the feeling of having your desire now. It is this combination that helps rapidly manifest any goal.  If you follow this mindset you will not only be saying thank you in advance, but you will be saying many more after the wish comes true.

Being a Vessel of God’s Power

I have grown so much as a person in the past few years. However, as joyful as I am about that, I realize that I still have so far to go to fully realize and be the person I want to be, and the one that God wants me to be. I want to accomplish great things, but still sometimes think I don’t have the capability to make a difference.

You may be able to relate and may be thinking that, regardless of some of the excellent qualities you have, you have too many weaknesses to make a difference. If so, I will share a Bible verse that inspired me today from 2 Corinthians 4:7. The version I read (NLT) says…we now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

I was deeply inspired for a couple of reasons. One is that I am learning more and more that God is not just someone on the outside that we beckon when we need him, but instead God is part of us and we are part of Him. He is this great treasure and this light shining in our hearts.

Another reason this verse inspires is that it shows perfection is not required. We are compared to fragile clay jars that can break at any moment. Yet God still loves and trusts us enough to house His treasure in us. In the commentary I read along with this verse, it mentioned great Bible figures that God has used. For each it mentioned God’s greatness in them along with the many mistakes that they had made. It’s further proof that perfection is not required.

My hope is that this will inspire you today. You may be fragile and breakable (even perhaps on the verge of breaking). However, you have an unbelievable power that is part of your very being. When you focus on the fact that this power is perfect, and it is the very power of God working in you, the potential in your life is endless. You can accomplish anything. The key is to get yourself out of the way, and yield to this power, which is God in you. Let this light shine. Then simply follow it and do what you believe you are called to do.

Remember, He trusts you, his breakable and imperfect vessel, to carry this light and shine it for great things. If you do, you will certainly experience more of those great things that you can count. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

A Selfish Way To Positively Impact Many People

If you are like me, you have a sincere desire to positively impact those around you.  I am constantly trying to find ways to better serve others and bring people to a higher level. In fact, that’s the main reason for this blog!

I once read a very interesting fact in a Wayne Dyer book (I’ve actually read many interesting facts in his books). It said that when we are in a high emotional state, we can impact many people because of it. This is not only true for those around us, but it says this high energy you create can impact many beyond people your realm. He also says that if your energy is negative, it can have negative effects. He jokes to watch your energy level because you could be potentially depressing someone in Bulgaria(or whatever far away place) right now.

At first, I questioned how this could be true. However, I went with it because I know the importance of maintaining a positive, high energy emotional field. However, as I’ve learned more, I realize the potential we have to impact many.

How does this power of connection help you impact people? This principle states that you are connected to everything and everybody in this universe. This is because the Godly spirit that is a part of you is a part of everything else.

Ok, so how can I take advantage of this connection to positively impact those around me. you ask? My answer may seem very ironic at first. However, once you read the explanation, I believe the light will go on for you as it did for me. In order to impact the most people, you need to…pay strict attention and focus on giving the absolute best to….YOU!

Have I lost you yet? How can focusing on the supreme best for you help others? Again, it’s all in the principle of connection. You are connected to everything. When you enhance the good for you and take yourself to the absolute highest positive energy level, you are automatically doing it for everyone else. Since you are connected to everyone else on this planet, when you shine your own light brighter, you are literally shining the spiritual light of everyone else. You are adding energy to the universal light if you will.

This can enhance your life in other ways too. For example, if you want to “add light” to your bank account, just increase your positive vibration when you think about money. Know that you are connected to every single dollar in the universe. When you increase your own positive vibration about money, you are in turn increasing the positive vibration for all money as a whole. As a result, you attract more to yourself. I believe this is one of the big reasons that the world’s economic situation is as difficult as it is. There are so many individual minds thinking negatively about money that it impacts the negative energy about money itself as a whole.

Remember that you are connected to everything and everybody in this universe. Which part of that connection do you have total control of? That would be you. I remind you again that when you maximize the positivity and greatness of your part of that connection (which you automatically have in the Spirit of God that is part of you), you maximize the qualities of the connection as a whole. In this case, it’s OK to be selfish because in your “selfish” act of making yourself better, you are automatically taking everyone and everything else with you. A New Look On Faith

I have read through the entire Bible several times. There are some stories and verses that it has taken me several times to read before I fully understood their message.

I was reading one such chapter today. My one year Bible reading took me to Romans 4. It talks about Abraham and how he was extremely faithful. I’ve always read this with the attitude that I already know about Abraham and his faithful deeds. What can I learn from this?

First I will say this…when you ask God “what can I learn” be prepared for an answer. He loves providing new knowledge! As I opened myself for this knowledge today, I certainly received a new enlightenment.

If you are looking for a definition of what faith is, I will point out some details from this Bible chapter that describes part of Abraham’s story. First of all, he was promised by God that his offspring would be like the number of stars in the sky. God asked him to move to another land and do other things to make it happen. Abraham did those things even though he didn’t see the outcome yet. In fact, he didn’t even have any kids yet.

Speaking of kids, there was an issue with that. His wife couldn’t have any, and he was 100 years old. So how could he have descendants like the number of stars? I believe the key comes in verse 20. It says…he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He had promised.

As it turned out, because of this great faith, this 100 year old man was able to conceive a child through his barren wife who was well past the age of child bearing herself. As it turned out, the descendants of an entire nation can be traced to this one man. Why? All simply because he fully believed that God had the power to do what He promised. He then followed through and took action in the power of that promise.

If you are looking to build your faith, or get a better understanding of what faith is, I can think of no better example than this one. Please know that God delivers on His promises. One Bible verse says God has nothing but great and prosperous plans for you. Another says all you have to do is ask in prayer, and He provides great and wonderful gifts for His children. Another says all things are possible if you believe. There are tons more.

I challenge you now to be fully persuaded that God has the power to follow through on these promises, even though you can’t yet see the successful outcome. He can do it in anyone’s life, including yours. Follow this example of the great man of God who was blessed because he believed this concept. I have faith that God will provide blessings beyond your belief. Have an excellent day!

How Are You Like Dorothy From The Wizard Of Oz?

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies ever made. If you’ve never seen it or need a brief review, here’s the main idea: The main character Dorothy is blown from a tornado in her home in Kansas to a beautiful place called Oz. In this place she is provided with shoes that provide unlimited power. In fact, the power is so great that the wicked witch constantly tries to take them from her. Dorothy is a hero in Oz because her house landed on a previous wicked witch who had been terrorizing the place and kills her. She also finds great friendships, and wild adventures, all surrounded by unthinkable beauty.

Even though Dorothy is provided with many great things, she misses the people at home in Kansas, and all throughout the movie she expresses her desire to get back home. To fulfill this wish, she is told she needs to make a long journey to see the wizard of oz who can grant this wish. She finally makes this long and sometimes dangerous journey and gets to the wizard where he is about to grant her wish by taking her back to Kansas. However, there is a glitch in the plan and now she is still stuck in Oz. Then the good witch who provided the powerful shoes comes to her rescue.

Herein lies the most ironic part of the movie and the theme of this post. The good witch shows Dorothy how to use the powerful shoes to take her home. However, she says that Dorothy had the power to go home all along.

What is it you are wishing for today? Whatever it is, I would like to remind you that you already have the power. Whether you are seeking love, joy, peace, patience, self-control, they are fruits of the spirit that are already part of you. 

Even if you are seeking an external thing, such as more money, a job, a new home, or anything like it, please know that the same all-powerful energy that is part of you is part of the the thing you are seeking. When you focus on that power, you let the fruits of the spirit manifest through you. You don’t have to strive for happiness. It’s already a part of you! Just meditate on that fact and let it manifest through you. As far as a material item, keep focused on that item and on the power you possess. When you do this you attract it to you. Then be sure to take any inspired action to make it happen. In the movie, the good witch gave Dorothy the instructions and she followed them. You need to do the same to make it happen and make the power work.

I will remind you that the power you have is very strong. As a result, just like in the movie, the evil one will make every effort to take it from you. However, if you rely on God and meditate on His power that is a part of you, He will protect you from those evil influences.

I remind you again that you already have the power you are seeking. Use it with confidence and for good, and there’s no place it can’t take you. Enjoy its wonderful blessings : )

A Quick Lesson In Positive Logic

I will start by saying that I am far from a math genius. It was certainly not one of my stronger subjects in school. However, there is one part of math I always enjoyed. That part is called logic. I was even crazy enough to take a college course on logic. I wasn’t that good at it, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

What’s logic all about? I only remember the basics, but it goes something like this…A-B therefore C. To translate to English, A=I live in Buffalo B=Everyone who lives in Buffalo likes snow, therefore C=I like the snow (yeah, right).

See, I have a little bit of the knowledge left. Please allow me to prove to you that this class was not a complete waste of time. I’ve actually thought a lot about it lately as I go through life, and it’s helped get my mind in the right place. For example….I am a human being; the Spirit of God is in every human being; therefore, the Spirit of God is in me.

It works very well with the things we desire is well…I am a being made up of great energy who attracts other things with great energy; my desire is made of great energy; therefore, I attract my desire.

I apologize if your head is already spinning. Hopefully, you haven’t left the page by now. I just wanted to share that, as sure as these formulas in logic are true, they hold true in all aspects of your life as well. There’s no going against it. So consider this…when you think positive thoughts you get positive results; you are thinking positive thoughts; therefore, you are getting positive results.

There’s no way around this. It’s true. I just wanted to use this college flashback (I took this course almost 30 years ago) to share that God’s laws and the laws of nature are indeed logical and unchangeable. Hold steady to them, and you will be blessed. Does that sound logical to you? Enjoy the blessings : )

Let Your Awesomeness Shine

I will start by saying that…you are awesome! It’s a fact. Some of you may respond by saying thank you and believing it, while others might doubt it and think of all of the reasons you believe you are not. Either way, it’s not something we are often told.

Whether you believe it or not, every single person on this planet has God’s power and awesomeness inside them. It’s a part of you. The other part of us is not so awesome. That is, our personal ego. It’s the ego that says we are inferior, that says we’re not good, that says we need to have a certain something to be happy, that says I can’t do it. I think you get the picture.

You have a choice. You can let your ego dominate and continue to feel the negative emotions associated with it. Or you can let your Godly spirit shine instead. It’s that spirit that is part of the unlimited power, abundance, and love of God. It is that spirit that, when you are aligned with it, enables you to accomplish anything you desire. It is that spirit that is loving, joyful, kind, peaceful, etc. and manifests those qualities in your life and the lives of others.

Which part of you will you allow to shine? I challenge you to remind yourself as much as possible of the undeniable awesomeness you have within you. Please don’t doubt it or deny it. It’s there. It’s part of you. If you don’t believe it, it’s simply because you choose not to. Let that beautiful spirit shine from within. All you have to do is acknowledge it, do what it inspires you to do, and go where it inspires you to go. When you do, you will quickly see blessings and miracles in your life. You will also be a blessing and an inspiration to others.

Remember again that you are awesome. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, and realize that no one can take it away from you. Let this awesome spirit of power and grace shine, and watch the blessings manifest. It’s awesome!

He’s Not Out To Get You

I love life! I am thankful to God every day that I’ve been given the opportunity to spend part of my eternity living on this earth and helping to make it a better place.

Unfortunately, this life is not always fun and easy. Negative things happen, and we seem to be presented with obstacles on a regular basis. Too many times, people get down on themselves when bad things happen. When presented with the opportunity to pray for divine assistance, they avoid prayer. In many cases it’s because they think God is against them instead of for them. They feel like they are not worthy of His guidance and assistance. Possibly this is because of something they are guilty about, or simply a lack of self-worthiness.

Are you one of those people? If so, I am here to tell you that God is NEVER against you, and He is ALWAYS for you. I know the feeling because I would feel that way on occasion. I would think, “why would God want to help someone like me”? I would remind myself of my sins and all of the mistakes I had made, then think about how unworthy I was.

There are two main reasons I learned that the opposite was true, and that I was indeed worthy:

1. We are warned throughout the Bible that we would face trials. As good as life is, it’s part of the deal that we will face adversity. I learned that I am not the only person on this earth that goes through difficult times. Everyone does. However, we are reminded in this same Bible countless times that God is there to help us through those difficult times. He is there to help us gain victory, not failure.
2. This was the clincher for me…Matthew 7:9-11 says…”which of you if his son asks for bread will give him a stone? Or if he asks for fish will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

You would never give anything bad to those you love most, would you? Even though you are imperfect, you would only give your best to those you love.  You wouldn’t give anything bad in your imperfection, so do you think God would strive to give you bad things, being the perfect and loving being that He is? Never!

Please understand that God is not out to get you. He’s here to prosper you and guide you to greatness. That’s the only way He has intended that you live during this short time on earth. Instead of living in fear of Him, focus on His love and power that He readily shares with you. Use this power for your good, and to make this world a better place for everyone else. He’s out to get you to do that! Enjoy the blessings : )

How Much Power Do You Have?

On a scale from 1-10, how much power do you think you have?

Can you answer that question? I will say that you cannot. The reason is that the power you possess goes far beyond any scale you can imagine. There’s a quote from “The Secret” that says, “we all work with one infinite power”.

That power lives in you, and is a part of your being. It is with you at all times, waiting to be summoned for your good. The key is to be consciously aware of it as much as possible, know that it exists, and know that it is endless and readily available at all times.

Please do not use a 1-10 scale to measure your power. In fact, don’t use any finite scale. The Spiritual power you possess is endless and limitless. So how are you going to use it to positively impact your world and those around you? Have an awesome day : )

Do You Have The Power to Find What Your Are Looking For?

The above question is one that I’m sure many people wonder. What do you think? Do you have the power to find what you are looking for?

The message I saw on a poster recently may answer that question for you. I don’t know who wrote it, but it says…”All the wonders you seek in life are deep inside yourself”.

Does that answer your question? Whatever you are looking for already exists. In fact, it is as close to you as it could possibly be…inside of yourself.

You already have what you are looking for. You just need to see it. You may be asking…really? I don’t see it. My bank account still shows a low amount. My relationships are still strained. I’m still not feeling well. Whatever you are not seeing, I completely understand. As human beings, we often base our happiness and make conclusions based on what we see.

When you live in the Spiritual realm, that attitude changes. This is where all things are possible. This is where faith is built, regardless of what we see. Remember, we walk by faith, not by sight. Remember, faith is the confidence of things hoped for, and the assurance of what we don’t see. Live in this definition of faith. When you do, and when you are consciously aware that the power within you is endless, miracles happen. Also realize that the power within you knows what you are looking for and how to achieve it. Ask for Godly guidance and do what you are directed to do.

The bottom line is this. The spiritual power that exists in you also exists in the object or situation of your desire. It is all one and the same. That is why I strongly believe the message of this poster. You have the answers you need. In fact, you already have everything you need as long as you focus on the Godly spirit within you. Keep your focus there, take the necessary steps, and watch the miracles happen. Enjoy the blessings : )
