Anytime I see an article about manifesting money, I am certainly paying attention! I read one such article by Steve Pavlina the other day, and it was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The information is presented in an easy to follow manner, and it really does help change your mindset about money. As your mindset changes, so do your actions and results.
In the article, the author shares how he taught his ten year old daughter about a money manifesting exercise. They took a walk and had a contest to see who could find the most pennies on the ground. He found several, while his daughter could not find any. He shared that the reason is that he simply knew the pennies were there. It was just a matter of having that faithful mindset and awareness, and knowing that the pennies were there to be found. Through his example, his daughter eventually developed the same mindset and began finding pennies as well. Sometimes she found more than him!
This example has several points. One is that there is an unlimited abundance of pennies and dollars in this world. When you realize that, know that it’s always there, and start looking for it, you manifest more of it. Then your confidence grow, you look for more if it, and find more and more. You just need to maintain this conscious awareness.
I was so impressed with this story that I had to try it for myself. I’ve done it for 4 days, and I will share my results. You tell me if it works or not. For two of the four days, I found 11 cents. Besides finding pennies, I found dimes too. Here’s how this also helps the mindset. I had some doubts the first day, and after a while I hadn’t found anything yet. Doubt is not good for manifesting anything. At that time, I thought about how I really didn’t need any pennies because I had many at home. If I didn’t find any, I could easily go home and have hundreds. Shortly after, I found two coins.
The other days are examples of how sometimes you don’t get exactly what you want, but something better. I was thinking abundance, but found no pennies. Instead, I was led to check a program I was interested in, but didn’t have the extra $20 to invest in it. As I looked at the page, I was told the program was free for an customers of my cell phone carrier. I received a $20 program for free! The other day I didn’t find pennies, but I found a $10 gift card in my mailbox for teacher appreciation.
So what do you think? Does it work? This method does not bring money that magically falls from the sky, and I know 11 cents isn’t much. However, what this experiment has done is change my mindset about money. I feel positive because this is a fun game, and I am winning! As I continue to win, I gain more confidence and positive feelings. I am more aware that abundance is all around me, and I am more willing to notice it and look for it. These are all ways that money is manifested. I strongly recommend you try it. Then as you master the manifestations of pennies, you can move on to bigger and better things. Your mindset will be where it should be to manifest more money into your life.
If you are seeking more money, do this or anything else to shift your mindset to positivity and abundance. You will have to take action, but when you do it will be right and productive. Money isn’t everything and it doesn’t guarantee happiness. However, we all need it, and I believe this is one way that will bring you towards greater abundance. I would love to hear how it helps you, so please share your success stories. Enjoy the blessings : )
Here is a link to the article. It’s an excellent read and provides much more helpful information…

Do you have a to-do list? I have learned that it is very helpful to have my plans written down, along with the goals to be accomplished each day. I try as much as I can to do this on a daily basis.
I have become more aware of ways to enhance the quality of life. One that I consistently read about is the concept of intention statements. An intention statement is exactly that..an intention. You say to yourself consistently that you intend to…and fill in the blank with a goal you are seeking to accomplish.
Do these work? I believe they work the same as the to-do list I mentioned earlier. For example, my to-do list for today might say something about grading papers for all of my classes, and picking up a list of items at Walmart. Those are the goals. The list is something that keeps me focused on accomplishing those goals. If I use this as an intention, I can simply say that I intend to grade papers for all of my classes today and I intend to get A, B, and C at Walmart. I’m focused, I do what I need to do, and it gets done.
I am finding more each day that these intentions can be used for far more. They can be used to enhance the quality of your life in all areas. You can say things like..”I intend to spend at least 30 minutes of quality time with my family each day”; “I intend to add positivity and joy to the lives of at least 10 people today”; I intend to earn X dollars this year; I intend to bring my weight to X pounds within two months. These are just a few examples. Some can be general, but the best ones are the ones that are specific and measurable.
Why are intentions so effective? Mainly because intentions help you to keep your focus on the goal instead of the things that pull you away from it. It also makes the goal more believable. The more you repeat your intention, your subconscious mind believes it more and more. With enough repetition, you are convincing yourself that the desired result will take place. Once your subconscious believes something, it’s only a matter of time until you are lead towards manifestation of the goal.
Ultimately what you are doing when you use intention statements is using a glorified to-do list. You are writing down and saying what needs to get done, then you decide what you need to do and do it. It’s as simple as that. So why not put some lofty and ambitious goals on your intention list. Pray for God’s guidance, start moving and acting right away, and experience the joy of your goals being reached. Enjoy the blessings : )

There are certain phrases that get my attention and I find to be amusing. One such phrase is…”as if”. I especially find it funny when someone doesn’t believe what they are being told. The “as if” is equivelant to “yeah right”.
As I learn more about maintaining a right mind and creating our own success, I realize more and more the importance of living with the “as if” mentality. What’s your goal? What do you want most in life? One of the key ways to reach the goal and live the life you want to live is to act “as if” you actually have what you desire.
This philosophy can be used in all areas of life. Do you want to make a major impression at the job? Work and act as if you are already there. How would you work if you were recognized as a top employee? Seeking the ideal partner? How would you act as if he or she were with you right now? Seeking more money? What would you be doing if you had it? Spend time mentally focusing on the answers to these questions. Then act accordingly.
I’ve been especially focusing on the “as if” and I already see the impacts. There are things I’ve held back doing because I was waiting until I had the money, the energy, or the time. Shifting my thinking, I acted as if I already had those things. The result has been greater confidence and greater positivity. It has also positively impacted some other people around me due to the extra time I was able to give.
The key is not to spend money that you don’t have, or wear yourself thin by doing too much. Instead, it is feeling, as often as possible, “as if” you are already living the life you desire, and doing things as if this was the case. It’s a matter of using the Law of Attraction naturally to create the ideal life. This is because, according to the Law, the more you feel like you are living the life you desire, you already have what you want, and feel the corresponding positive emotions, the more likely and the more quickly you will see it manifest in your life.
Use these magic words as a guide to help create the life you are seeking. Live as if you already have what you want. Feel the corresponding emotions, and take the corresponding actions. Before long it will be natural, and your life will be at the higher level you desire. Instead of saying “as if” you will be saying “it’s real”. Enjoy the blessings : )

There is much power in the subconscious mind. The subconscious is something that we all have. However, many people are unaware of how to use it. Even more people are unaware of the power they possess by using the subconscious mind to their advantage.
Before I explain how to direct the subconscious, let me first provide a crash course about how it works. All of the beliefs and experiences that build up in our lifetime are stored in the subconscious mind. It is this part of the brain that maintains are core beliefs, and it is this part of the brain that ultimately directs our actions. That is because the conscious (thinking) part of our brain is influenced by the subconscious. For example, let’s say you struggled in school, and some peers, parents, and teachers told you that you were not intelligent. The core beliefs in your subconscious tell you that you are not intelligent. Then you believe it, and ultimately take actions which ending up “proving” to your subconscious that it is right. If you are struggling with weight, your experiences and possibly people telling you that you’re fat, are stored in your brain and you believe it yourself. No matter how hard you try to lose weight, you continually act towads confirming the belief of being overweight.
After seeing all this, you may wonder, how can I change this? Since your subconscious beliefs have been formed by what you’ve seen and what you’ve been told, you change the beliefs by changing what the subconscious sees and is told. It’s a matter of replacing the old beliefs with new ones. Here’s a 3 step process to get your subconscious mind to work for you instead of against you:
- Think of what you want and see it happening. If you want more money, pick an exact amount, and “experience” having that amount and all of the resulting benefits. If you want to lose weight, think of the exact weight you want to be, and see yourself there, again enjoying all of the benefits.
- Direct your subconscious by telling yourself that you are wealthy, you are at the perfect weight, you are an excellent marraige partner, or whatever you want it to believe.
- Take the necessary action. When you take action with these new thoughts, you no longer have your negatively established beliefs holding you back. Instead, you have your positively-inspired beliefs pushing you forward.
In order for this to work, you need to do it consistently. I try to do it a few minutes (5-10) a day, about 3 times during the day. That is how your beliefs gradually change. Keep at it, even if you have conflicting thoughts the first few times. That is simply your subconscious trying to prove you wrong. Once you direct it enough though, those new thoughts will take over and you will experience less and less resistence.
The subconscious mind is a powerful tool that can work for you or against you. Follow these steps to help move you forward today. Your faith will increase as you do, resulting in more positive progress. Enjoy the blessings : )

It’s that time of the year again. We reflect on what was, and determine what is to be. Here’s that take from this author’s perspective…
As I look back on 2011, I say it was good. Nothing great, nothing horrible. The negative is that several of the goals set at the beginning of the year still remain unaccomplished. The positive is that I learned a lot. As in more than I have in a long time. Now it’s time to apply that knowledge to enable all of 2012’s goals to be realized.
So here we go. My intentions for 2012. I call them intentions because I don’t like the word resolution. To me, a resolution is something to try and that we hope to accomplish. It works for a month, and then we are often back to the old habits. An intention is something that is going to get done. Period. I believe we need to approach our goals with that attitude. Here now, the 2012 intentions:
- Seek God first. It’s the obvious choice for number one. However, it’s something I often lost sight of in 2011. In order to succeed, I need to see things from His point of view, not mine. The more I am consciously aware of His presence and stick to His agenda, the more successful I will be.
- Double my income. Yes you heard me. No I am not naming it and claiming it. I am constantly told to have faith and pray big. I often recommend it myself. Well here goes. I pray that God forgives me for my financial mis-management and poor stewardship. I pray that He shows me the way to make this happen. I feel that, if we’re not going to pray big, what’s the sense in doing so?
- I intend to have faith and banish all doubt. I’ve taken no for an answer long enough. Now it’s time to believe that my time has come, visualize success, do my part, then know God will make it happen.
- I intend to be content and enjoy the moment. Time moves quickly, and I sometimes allow it to go by without savoring the positive experiences of life. Also, sometimes I am too caught up in future events and goals that I don’t focus on and appreciate present day successes. Life is so much better when we enjoy present moments and victories, regardless of how big or small they are.
- I intend to serve others. There are several great examples in my life of people who make a habit of selflessly serving others. It is a fact that, as we determine what people want and help them get it, we experience major blessings in our own lives. Besides this, I believe it is simply what God wants me to do, and I willingly obey.
So here you have one man’s intentions for this year. Can you relate to any of them? If so, please share. Perhaps we can experience success together. Or, if you have any other goals I would love to hear about them. Either way, I wsih my cherished readers a very happy and successful 2012. Enjoy the blessings : )

There are millions of people in our world looking to sell something. It could be a hot new product, homes, cars, or whatever else you can think of. Some seem to sell with ease, while others seem to struggle. If only there was a magic formular to make it easy.
The more I read, the more I see that there actually is a way to dramatically increase your sales. Before I discuss it, I will say that it applies to more than just the selling of things or services. For example, I am a teacher, and I need to “sell” the importance of the subject I teach. Pastors need to be credible in order to share the Christian message effectively. Anywhere in life, people need to sell themselves or something to be effective.
So here’s the magic formula. The more people like you, or the more they can relate to you, the greater your success will be. I was inspired to write this from a story by Gary Hanley called “The Window Salesman”. It is a story about a window salesman who is brand new to the field. His first assignment is to sell windows to a high-class invidual in the richest part of town. What a first assignment! He takes it on, though nervous and feeling inept. He arrives, and is welcomed by the prestigious older lady. He stays for 3 hours, drinking her tea and politely listening to her old stories. As it turns out, she buys thousands of dollars of windows from this new salesman after he barely said a word. The crazy thing is, she was approached during the week by about 6 other salespeople with much more experience and pizzaz than this guy. Even crazier, is that they all offered a lower price than this gentleman did.
How does something like that happen? As the author of the story says, it was the rookie salesman’s courtesy, attitude, politeness, and likeability that closed the sale. It was not sales-hype, low prices, or benefits. That, my cherished readers, is the magic formula for selling goods, services, or ourselves. The more we demonstrate those qualities of courtesy, positive attitude, politeness, and likeability, the more we will succeed in anything. People will buy from us, we can effectively teach, and we can positively impact people. Contrary to what some people still believe, those little things still count, and still make a dramatic difference. Let us take the example of this window salesman, and be our best towards other people, and make them feel appreciated. You will be blessed as a result.

It’s always funny when we see someone talking to themself, isn’t it? I think this is mainly because we all do it, and we can all relate. On several occasions I have mentioned the importance of self-talk on this site. As much as we joke about it, I believe it is very important to make a habit of deliberately telling ourselves great things about ourselves. The more our mind hears it, the more it believes it, and the more we act in confidence and faith.
I would like to take this self-talk technique a step further. I read this on a website recently (as well as other places before) and decided to try it. After only a few days, I can already see some dramatic positive effects. The technique is this…instead of just affirming great things, ask yourself a question. That powerful question is, what can I do TODAY that will bring about the desired result? For example, at this time in my life (my mid 40s), I am seeking to be in the best shape of my life. Instead of just affirming that I am strong, healthy, and in great shape, I need to ask myself what I can do this day to make that happen. I am seeking to be the best husband and father I can be. Instead of just affirming that throughout the day, I can take it a step further by asking what I can do, ALL I can possibly do that day, to make it happen. I am looking to double my income in 2012. Instead of just affirming it, praying it, and visualizing it (all important steps), I need to ask on a daily basis what I can do to make it happen.
This may seem like an overly simple process. However, here’s the cool thing. When we sincerely and prayerfully ask that question, the answer ALWAYS comes. The key is to act on it as soon as it does. Also, there are many occasions where the actions we need to take are very small. We may hesitate when we receive a small answer, and even possibly dismiss it because we are looking for great solutions right away. However, the small action, such as a phone call to reach out to someone, filling out an application, looking up a Bible verse, or doing a small favor, can do wonders and have great impacts. Whatever it is you are inspired to do just do it!
The only drawback I’ve heard from this is that we are doing the work and not allowing God to do His. Yes, I know that sometimes people (definitely me) try to do too much and get in God’s way. Remember though, that although God wants us to faithfully rely on Him, He also expects us to act in obedience to Him. When we ask the question of what we can do to achieve our goal, and listen attentively for the answer, we will receive it. When we act on it, it is simply us doing our part as we pray for God to do His. It’s also a kick in the butt for people like me who are sometimes slow to act, to just do something, and then let God use it for His good.
I challenge you to ask yourself this question daily for whatever goal you have…What can I do TODAY to realize my goal? When you challenge yourself this way, the answer will come. And when you act on that answer, you will see fast results. I’ve seen it myself already after a short time of using this technique. I strongly recommend you try it. Enjoy the blessings : )
P.S. I wanted to share the link where I was presented with this challenge. The information on that website mainly deals with using this technique to increase your income. It will certainly help you do that. However, you can use this technique for any area of your life, whether it’s improving relationships, health, finding a job, or simply enjoying life more. The author also presents another process for helping reach your goals that I also recommend you try. In both cases, I believe this can be a great help to anyone. Enjoy!

There are many people in our world that do things to get noticed. It happens in different ways. It could be the middle school student acting out to get the attention he or she craves. It may be a musician or actor trying to make it big. Perhaps it could be the average worker in corperate America seeking a promotion.
After some conversation and reading, I have found a sure way to get noticed. It seems like a simple, common sense method, but it’s amazing how many people know this and still don’t do it.
So what’s the magic formula? It is simply to do your best. I’ll say it again. DO YOUR BEST. Wait a minute, that’s it? I’ve been told that all my life and it hasn’t taken me far. I understand. The key is to do your best in every situation, in every place. Every time. That’s what separates the average from the extraordinary. When you put your best effort into everything, that’s when people take notice. Here’s another key. Don’t do it to please others. Don’t do it just so people hopefully notice. Do it to please you. Do it so you can sleep at night knowing that you were your best and did all you could possibly do that day. Do it also to please the God that created you, and will bless you abundantly for it.
When we do our best in every area all the time we take the next step to experiencing greatness in our lives. We don’t do it to get attention, but we WILL get attention. We don’t do it to get blessed, but we WILL get blessed. God says that faith without works is dead. Well, these are the works He is talking about. And when we do our part as well as we can, do you think God will hold back when its our time to be blessed? No way!
Whether you are seeking a great family, superior health, endless work and income opportunities, many friends, or whatever you are seeking in life, do everything wholeheartedly. Even if you are not where you want to be at the moment, you will get there if you do things right. For example, you may desire to be a corporate executive, but right now you are a shift worker on an assembly line. If you are the best assembly worker you can be, you will be promoted to supervisor. The best supervisor you can be then results in another step up. This continues until you eventually get to where you want to be. The more effort you put to being your best, the quicker you get there. There are many stories of this occurring in the lives of ordinary people who ended up with greatness.
Doing our best in everything is not a difficult thing to do. Also, make sure you are trying to be YOUR best, not THE best. We are not competing with anyone. It’s just a fact. When you do your best at everything, doors open and opportunities that you could have never imagined are presented to you with regularity. Make that happen by doing and being your best today. Enjoy the blessings : )

Are you someone who is looking to make money online? It is my dream to make an excellent living from the comfort of my own home, and I strongly believe it will happen one day.
There are a billion ads online advertising ways to make increase your income. Many seem like they could work. The problem is, in almost all cases, you have to pay a fee to buy a program or get the magic formula. I know you have to spend money to make money, but if I spent it on all of these opportunities I would go broke instead of making the money I am looking for.
I will say that there is a free way to increase your income, and it doesn’t take much effort. In fact, you can have lots of fun with this. Are you ready?…..
As I continue to read and study the mind and its power, I see more and more how we can use our minds to accomplish anything. This is not something that one book says. I have read about 30 (and counting), and they ALL say it!! Even the greatest book of all, the Bible, clearly outlines benefits of positive thoughts.
So how can just thinking about money bring it to you? From what I’m reading, it’s a subconscious thing. You may be thinking…so money is going to fall from the sky just because I am thinking about it? I wish it was that easy. However, the more we see ourselves with the money in our imagination, the more likely we are to see it show up in our lives. It’s not about willing it into our lives. It’s not about figuring out how we can keep it all to ourselves. And it’s not about just sittting around waiting for it. It is about generating good, positive feelings about money. It is about figuring out how we will use it to bless ourselves and others. And it is about developing faith and taking necessary action according to that faith.
Faith is exactly what happens when we think positive thoughts about money, or anything. I shared recently that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. I wrote that our thoughts are substance, and our desires are things hoped for. When we see money in our imagination, we are creating that evidence. Remember that our subconscious cannot tell the difference between what is real or imagined. The more you imagine it, the more you start to believe you can have it. Once you have that faith, pray for and seek opportunities to make it happen. Be sure to act immediately on the answers and guidance you receive from your intuition. I believe that intuition is the voice of God guiding and directing you.
I have seen this work in my own life. As I rid myself of negative money thoughts, and replace them with postive ones, I gradually see more money coming into my life. The more I maintain these positive thoughts, the more opportunities I receive. The same is true for anyone.
So instead of paying for those money-making opportunities and hoping they work out, see yourself as the prosperous person you want to be. Mentally experience the great things it will bring. Imagine the blessing you can be to the people in your life. Then act on the opportunities that inevitably follow. The more you keep these positive thoughts in your head, the faster you will see the results you are looking for. How much does this wonderful opportunity cost? It’s free!
Enjoy the blessings!!

It would be great if there was a magic formula for succeeding at any job. I will say that, after reading various sources of information that say the same thing, I believe there is one. Drum roll please….
You can succeed at any job. The key is to determine what people want and help them get it. It’s as simple as that. Success is guaranteed if you can help people meet their needs. Think about any type of work, and it is true. For example, I am a teacher. If I can know what my students need and come through for them, they will learn anything I need them to learn. If I know the goals of my superiors and can help them reach those goals, I am a very valuable employee. If you work in sales, you will excell if you can show how your product or service can meet the needs of your customers. If you work at an auto assembly line, being able to see the big picture and provide information that can help do things more effectively, you are a hero.
This is the key to success at the job, and in any area of life. You can have dramatic impacts on those around you if you can help them meet their needs. The results are astounding. You will have more rewarding relationships. Your bank account will multiply in large proportion. You will feel better about yourself as you help others. You will also find that you will easily find people to help you reach your own goals.
If you are looking for success in your own life, first help other people find it. Once you do, you will be astounded that the success you experience is beyond what you could have imagined. You will be majorly blessed!
