Love Your Life With These Powerful Affirmations

January 10, 2017

Those that know me well, or even people who regularly read my articles know that I’m a sucker for positive messages, especially when they come in the form of music.

I was especially touched by a song that was played at my job today. It is from Robbie Williams, and it is called “I Love My Life”. It is an upbeat, positive song that can turn anyone’s sour day to a cheerful one. The chorus consists of a number of empowering positive affirmations. It goes like this…

I love my life
I am powerful
I am beautiful
I am free
I love my life
I am wonderful
I am magical
I am me
I love my life

If you were to repeat these affirmations throughout the day, it would be impossible to feel negative and powerless. On the contrary, you will feel positive and powerful.

I am so happy I even found this song, and I extremely grateful to our morning musical selector who chooses the music that starts our day. This one should be played until everyone believes it!

I challenge you to repeat these affirmations throughout the day. Then enjoy the added energy, power, and joy you feel wherever you are. And of course be willing to share it with all who you come in contact with. Enjoy the blessings ūüôā

When And Where To Find The Answers

October 3, 2013

We all want the answers, don’t we? And we want them now! Whether it’s for the test in school, or the obstacles in life, we want the answers. And those that have them are incredibly powerful.

I will ask again. Do you want the answers to whatever questions you have in life at this time? Well I am not going to give them to you. Not because I want to be mean, but because I want you to discover the simple truth if you don’t yet know….YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANSWERS!

The answers to any questions you have lie within you. It’s a simple solution, though some may say this is not true. I will say again that you already have the answers you are seeking….if you will look for them and be open to receiving them.

So how do I find them and when can I receive them? I will answer the second question first. The answer often varies depending on God’s timing. However, I will say that if you want to be lined up with His timing, you need to stay in the present moment. You cannot look to the past or the future. Those with the answers look solely at the present moment.

This leads me to the answer to the first question. If you focus on the present moment, you are much more likely to connect with your spiritual self and the God who created you. When you focus on the present, and the all-powerful spirit that is part of you, it is then that you open yourself up to the guidance you need…the guidance to provide the answers and direction you are seeking.

To sum this up, I found an amazing quote that says this perfectly. I will share the first part of it here…

‚ÄúOnce you have learned to focus your attention in the present moment, you can begin to refer to your intuitive faculties for direction. These intuitive sources are your direct link with the totality of your being.‚ÄĚ

For the rest of it, I recommend you check out this link….

Here you will see further why your intuition will provide the answers and solutions you are seeking.

Remember, you have unlimited power within you. Use it and rely on it to find those answers that have eluded you for so long. It can potentially change your life. Enjoy the blessings : )

How To Change Negative Circumstances

August 9, 2013

Do you have negative circumstances in your life? Unfortunately, we all do to some extent. Even us positive, optimistic people have obstacles we must deal with. God even says in the Bible that all humans will encounter these difficult situations at some time.

One pertinent question is… how do we deal with these negative situations? You may also ask… Is there a way we can avoid them? How can we turn them into a positive? All of these are excellent questions, and I will address each one in this article.

Before I answer these questions, I will say that too many people try to handle these negative situations externally. Either they blame something or someone else, or they try to find solutions by controlling the people or situations that caused the difficulty in the first place. They are trying to solve the problem from the outside. This is NOT the correct way to turn a negative situation around.

The best way to change negative circumstances is to focus on the inside. You may be able to control the situation in some way. However, you have full control of your own thoughts. And it’s using this control wisely that changes the situation most quickly and effectively. It’s a fact, that you are what you think. When you think negatively about a person or a situation, you are only allowing more negativity to enter the picture. However, when you think positively, even about a negative situation, you are setting the process in motion to change the situation quickly.

I’m sure you are familiar with the theory of displacement. For example, if you have a glass of muddy water, how do you change it so there is clear water in the glass? You cannot just dump the water out because much of the dirt will still remain. Instead, you need to run a constant stream of clean water through the glass. Eventually, the clean water replaces the muddy water until all of the dirt is cleaned out, and the water is clean. I have read in several books how the same is true for our thoughts. It is very difficult to just dump the negative thoughts out of our minds. This is because much of the lodged into our subconscious mind. In order to be removed, the positive thoughts need to clean out the negative ones. This only happens with a steady stream of healthy, positive thoughts.

What are some ways to help displace negative thoughts with positive ones to help change the negative situation? I will mention those that have been suggested to me and have worked wonders in helping me succeed…
Prayer –¬†If you only practiced prayer to change a negative siutation, it would be good enough. God is in control of everything. Asking Him to solve your negative situation is like someone asking you to remove a piece of dust from a table. The Bible says that God is waiting for you to ask for His help and blessing, and He is ready and willing to provide for His children. Prayer is also effective, because it provides peace and a sense of power to you. To know completely that the negative situation is in God’s hands and control is empowering, and it helps us move on with the poise and confidence we need to do our part.

Visualization –¬†Earlier I mentioned displacing negative thoughts from the subconscious mind. One of the most effective ways to do this is by visualization. This is because the subconscious cannot tell the difference between a real or imagined event. When you visualize a situation in the ideal, as you want it to be, your mind takes a hold of it, and you begin to think and act according to the picture that you hold. Knowing this, take time whenever you can through the day, and visualize the situations in your life as you want them to be, and as you think they should be. Hold this picture in your mind as often as possible. Experience it with all five senses in as much detail as you can. Ultimately, you start becoming that picture. Your actions work together with your new-found faith. This not only results in finding solutions, but allows you to a act in a confident, positive manner that effects all aspects of your life in an unbelievable way.

Positive Emotion РThis step goes hand in hand with the previous ones.Even a negative situation can be changed if you demonstrate love, joy, peace, and all of the other fruits of the Spirit. Keep your emotions high, and you will magnetically attract the positive outcomes you are seeking. You will also be a positive light for others, and will make negative situations difficult to occur in the first place.

Take Inspired Action¬†– I touched upon this already, but when your faith is strong, your thoughts are confident and positive, and your emotions are high, your actions automatically follow in the same manner. Just be sure to take those actions whenever you see the opportunity. Also, you’ve heard that the best defense is a great offense? When you practice these steps above, you are doing all you can do to prevent negative situations from happening. In fact, you are causing the opposite effects. You are instead setting yourself for blessings and miracles.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, negative situations cannot be completely avoided. The sooner they are dealt with, the sooner they disappear. The best way to deal with them is to avoid fighting them, and instead by changing your thinking to alter the situation. When you follow the steps above, you will be able to quickly resolve negative situations in your life, and create many more positive ones. Enjoy the blessings!

Who Can You Help Today?

July 5, 2013

Are you looking for a great way to make a difference and be the best person you can be? One of the best ways to be your best is to help others. This is nothing new, but I am realizing more and more how helping others has extreme benefits. Please allow me to share:

1. You positively impact others – This is the most obvious benefit. Other people benefit from your generosity and the time you give them.

2. You fulfill your purpose – One of the great reasons you are here on this earth is to share the love God showers upon you. We are commanded to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. When you focus on helping others you are fulfilling this command.

3. You feel better about yourself – Doesn’t it feel great to know you’ve given your best to someone else? The positive emotions you feel empower your own life, and give you more power and incentive to impact others in greater ways.

4. You get what you give – It’s amazing how, the more we we give and life, the more we are given. The more help we provide, the more help we are provided. It’s wonderful how many sincere friends show up to help when you regularly offer your services.

I don’t want to advocate helping others just so we can get things in return and solely to feel good about ourselves. However, there’s no denying that those are wonderful incentives.

I challenge you to ask yourself..who can I help today? If you think about it long enough (although it usually only takes ¬†a short time to receive the answer) you will find plenty of people to help, and plenty of ways to do it. Even if it’s just one or two people to assist, and can make a great difference for that person and for yourself.

So who can you help today? Your opportunity awaits. Take advantage of it today. Enjoy the blessings : )

Walk By Faith

July 30, 2012

For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Imagine how much better our lives would be. Imagine how much more empowered we would feel. Imagine the greater impacts we could make during our time on this earth. All if we would take this Bible verse completely to heart, and live it out on a daily basis.

The good news is that it is entirely possible. When we live our lives walking in faith, all of the above situations and more are possible. Is it easy to do? I would say yes and no. It is sometimes difficult to live in faith, especially if things have been difficult and haven’t gone your way. However, it is easy, because it is fully in your control to do. You don’t have to wait or rely on someone else before you can walk in faith. It is fully in your control to begin this instant. Once you start doing it on a regular basis, it becomes easier each day.

So how do we take this new walk of believing before seeing? There are several things you can do. The main thing is to get your mind right. Faith is a mindset. Get it firmly entrenched in your head by telling yourself each day that you choose to live by faith, regardless if things are not going your way at that time. Accept nothing less than a faithful attitude.

Another important idea is to constantly see events and situations in your mind as you want them to be. This again is not easy, especially if your desired outcomes are not taking place in reality. This is the key to faith right here. Keep seeing the positive outcomes in your mind. Replay them over and over. Feel the joy as your desires play out in your mind. What happens when you do this is that your subconscious begins to take hold of it, and you start believing it. How is this important? You need to take some action yourself as you let God do His part. When your mind is in this positive mindset, the action you take is more positive and likely to lead to success. When you take action without the necessary faith, your mindset actually causes you to fail. That is because you will lead yourself to situations that will cause failure. You may have heard of this as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

As your faith grows, keep doing what you are doing. The positive thoughts and success will snowball, and your faith will grow even more. I am also a firm believer in prayer. When you ask God for wisdom and faith, He generously provides it. Not only that, but there have been too many times in my life where He¬†makes things happen to show that He is behind me, and to build my faith even more. He also protects me from any avenues I shouldn’t venture to. The same will be true for you.

The bottom line is that when you only focus on what you are seeing, you are limiting yourself to those circumstances. When you focus on negative or average  thoughts, you only bring more negative and average into your life. In order to break the chain of negative circumstances, and go above the normal routine, you need to change your thinking. Live instead by believing and seeing the desired outcomes coming to pass in your imagination. Before long you will not be imagining it. You will be living it out for real.

I will end with another powerful Bible verse, my favorite of all…Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours (Mark 11:24). This is walking by faith and believing, and the blessings are beyond imagination. Enjoy : )

Be Aware Of Your Magnificent Power

April 19, 2012

Do you know how much power you have within you? If you are like most people in this world you probably don’t. I was listening to a speech from author/speaker John Bevere the other day. He discussed a study of Christians (a group of people that certainly should be aware of the power they have) where only 2% were aware of how much potential power they have.

Humans are very good at not using their full potential. After all, studies show we only use about 10% of our brains. This includes some very smart people, so can you imagine how smart they would be if they even used twice that amount? In the sermon mentioned earlier, John Bevere discussed the concept of God’s grace. He explained that, besides being a free gift from God that forgives our sins and rewards us with eternal heaven, it is the spiritual empowerment that God provides. It’s the stuff that miracles come from. This is what he found that 98% of Christians don’t know.

There is a magnificent power within every one of us. The Bible is full of verses. Luke 17:22 specifically says, “the kingdom of heaven is within us” Not just the spirit, but the entire kingdom! 2 Timothy 1:7 says God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. In John 14 God says he sends His spirit to empower us, and there are many examples of this, especially in the book of Acts.

The bottom line is that we are all blessed with incredible power. The problem is that most people ( I often include myself in this category) often rely on their own limited power instead of the unlimited power available to them. Why would I want to take on the challenges of life with my many limitations while I have a power with no limits? I don’t know, but I often do. However, that ends now, and I challenge anyone reading this to do the same. Instead, let us constantly be aware of and rely on the wonderful powerful within. That power knows so much more, can be so much more, and accomplish so more than we could ever think of in our own power. Let us prayerfully summon the assistance that God can provide, and use the power as we go through our lives. Let us use it to improve our own lives, and to serve and be an example to¬†others.

We can take our worlds and those of others to a much higher level. That power waits in every one of us. However, don’t let it lay¬†like a dormant volcano. Instead, let it explode and take you places you’ve never even dreamed. I promise that when you stop relying on your own power and ego and instead rely on the Godly spirit and power within you, you will see rapid positive changes in every area of your life. I’ve experienced it and seen it in too many other places to know any different. Remember…you have the power. Now use it fully! Enjoy the blessings : )
