When And Where To Find The Answers

October 3, 2013

We all want the answers, don’t we? And we want them now! Whether it’s for the test in school, or the obstacles in life, we want the answers. And those that have them are incredibly powerful.

I will ask again. Do you want the answers to whatever questions you have in life at this time? Well I am not going to give them to you. Not because I want to be mean, but because I want you to discover the simple truth if you don’t yet know….YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANSWERS!

The answers to any questions you have lie within you. It’s a simple solution, though some may say this is not true. I will say again that you already have the answers you are seeking….if you will look for them and be open to receiving them.

So how do I find them and when can I receive them? I will answer the second question first. The answer often varies depending on God’s timing. However, I will say that if you want to be lined up with His timing, you need to stay in the present moment. You cannot look to the past or the future. Those with the answers look solely at the present moment.

This leads me to the answer to the first question. If you focus on the present moment, you are much more likely to connect with your spiritual self and the God who created you. When you focus on the present, and the all-powerful spirit that is part of you, it is then that you open yourself up to the guidance you need…the guidance to provide the answers and direction you are seeking.

To sum this up, I found an amazing quote that says this perfectly. I will share the first part of it here…

“Once you have learned to focus your attention in the present moment, you can begin to refer to your intuitive faculties for direction. These intuitive sources are your direct link with the totality of your being.”

For the rest of it, I recommend you check out this link….

Here you will see further why your intuition will provide the answers and solutions you are seeking.

Remember, you have unlimited power within you. Use it and rely on it to find those answers that have eluded you for so long. It can potentially change your life. Enjoy the blessings : )

Present Moment Focus That Controls Your Future

September 13, 2013

What are you thinking right now? Seriously spend a whole minute thinking about your thoughts right now. Again I ask…what are you thinking?

Do you know the thoughts you are thinking now determine your future? I’ve known this fact for a long time, yet I am still reminded of it on a regular basis. And I know that knowing it and doing it are completely different things.

Once again I remind you that if you think mostly positive thoughts in the present moment, you will have mostly positive experiences in the future. Of course, the oppsite is also true. I recommend you take regular times during the day to focus completely on the present moment. Pay attention to the thoughts you are thinking and the emotions you are feeling. The more you live in the present moment, the more you will be able to correct any negatives in these areas, and you will have greater control of the way you handle the events that occur during your day. The more you do this, the easier it will be to keep your focus on the present moment and maintain this great control.

Remember that, although you can learn from it, you cannot control the past. Although you can plan for it, the future hasn’t arrived yet and you can do nothing in future tense. However, you have absolute control of the present. Maintain your focus squarely on this moment, and you have all the control you can ask for. Fear disappears, and greater happiness is achieved because you are enjoying the moment instead of stressing over ones that haven’t even arrived yet. I can go on and on about the benefits of present moment focus, but I will just kee things simple for now.

Do you want a positive and exciting future? It happens by living a joyful, positive, and productive life NOW. Keep your focus and control on this moment and you will experience the greatness you are seeking. Remember, the present is a gift. Receive it now, and live in its constant joy. Enjoy the blessings : )

Is It Right To Live For Today?

November 10, 2011

You’ve heard the phrase “live for today” many times. This phrase has always created controversy. Why? Because living for today is often associated with disregard for the future. There are many that live their lives this way. They live their lives recklessly with no concern about how their actions will affect their future. We see the negative results, and draw the conclusion that it is wrong to live for today.

There is also the opposite extreme. Many people don’t enjoy the present day because they are too worried about what the future may bring. They miss out on so much in life because their fear of the future prevents them from taking present day steps towards their goals and the life they want to live.

So what’s the answer to the article’s title? I believe it’s a matter of combining the information presented so far. I strongly believe we DO need to live in a present moment mentality….with an eye on, but not fearing the future. Why it is important to live in the present moment? Because the present moment is all we have. The past is gone forever. So many times we don’t move ahead because we are still caught up in the mistakes of our past. We need to learn from those mistakes, but we cannot spend our present days living in the past. As mentioned, we must spend some time planning for our future, but we cannot fail to act in the present because we are worried about something in the future. Just as we can’t live in the past, we also cannot live in the future. Jesus Himself stressed that we are to avoid worrying about the future. In Matthew 6:34 He says..do not worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The bottom line is that the present is the only time where you have complete control of the outcome. Can we change the past? Sorry, but that’s a no. Are we in the future yet? Not unless we are talking about the past, and again, we can’t live in the past. We have full control of the present. And here’s a great thought. The more you take advantage of your present day opportunities, the better your future will be! So spend time perfecting your relationships; going after your dream job; taking care of your health; and doing anything that will help you get to the person you want to be and life you want to have.

I will conclude by saying again that, as long as we don’t completely disregard our future, it is right, and I believe necessary to live for today. If we do all we can possibly do each day to be a better person, to serve others, and to make this world a better place, we will find life more rewarding than ever before. We will enjoy the present moments to the fullest, and we will have no reason to fear our future. That’s the type of life I want to experience. Enjoy the blessings : )
