A Simple Guide to Self-Hypnosis in 5 Easy Steps

July 13, 2015

The concept of hypnosis has a powerful, yet mysterious appeal to it. Many are aware of the amazing, healing, and potentially life-changing benefits of hypnosis. However, there are still many that hold back, thinking only of someone swinging a pendulum to make you sleepy, or a stage act where people are made to do crazy things they would never do on their own.

I have experienced the amazing benefits of hypnosis since I was 14 years old. My father brought home a book that teaches people how to hypnotize themselves. I was hooked, and in a short time I used it to cure fears, develop personal confidence, and even heal injuries. I still use it today to reach my goals.

Self-hypnosis is very easy to do. And to ease any fears, you are constantly aware of where you are and what you are doing, and it does not take a large amount of time. I know hypnosis works, and in the following article, I present 5 easy steps to safely hypnotize yourself and experience the wonderful benefits of hypnosis. You can access the article here…

I’m Having Brain Surgery

February 13, 2015

I very much appreciate your concern. I will admit that I am not getting real brain surgery, and I’m totally OK. Instead, I am going through the major process of purging negative thoughts and removing the blocks that are holding me back from living the ultimate life I am meant to live.

It’s like that for everyone. Many of us have mental blocks that hold us back. Those blocks are formed from various memories from earlier parts of our life. Unfortunately they cause us to believe we can’t accomplish our goals. We feel like we’re not good enough, not worthy, we are meant to be overweight and unhealthy, we’ll never make enough money, we’ll never find the ideal partner. It’s all because of these negative beliefs that have been engrained into our minds.

The key is to remove those blocks. Now please don’t go out and sign up for the next brain surgery appointment. Instead, do your own brain surgery. You can indeed remove those blocks that are holding you back from realizing your dreams. How? There are several ways you can do it. One is through displacement. You continually visualize positive scenes of what you desire. See it happening and feel the positive emotions of having what you want. The more you do this, the more your subconscious (which can’t tell the difference between a real or imagined event) believes it and you replace the negative thoughts that hold you back with positive empowering ones.

Another way I’ve used, especially lately, is hypnosis. This is the most powerful and effective way to remove limiting beliefs. I have used it to remove fears, develop confidence, and even heal injuries, and it has worked in every case. The key is to get yourself in a very relaxed state and get deep into your mind to figure out exactly what is holding you back, and replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.

I have learned to do self-hypnosis over the years. However, if you don’t believe you can hypnotize yourself, there are many resources that can help you:

  • Binaural Beats – These are available online or even on your smartphone. Binaural beats are used to put your mind in a state to either relax you or stimulate you depending on what you want to accomplish. For hypnosis they put your mind in a state that connects you with your subconscious mind and helps you accept new ideas easier. I use an app called Binaural Beats therapy beta by Giorgio Regni. I like this one because, besides the fact that it works, you can choose the situation you desire and it provides the matching beats.
  • Joseph Clough Complete Confidence course – I have been utilizing the services of this hypnotist often lately, and it is changing my life by the day. In part 3 of his 11 part confidence course, he has a powerful hypnosis which is the best I’ve ever used for “surgically” removing negative blocks and replacing them with empowering and faithful ones. I recommend you listen to this program. The hypnosis starts about halfway through it. You can access this and the entire course with the Joseph Clough smartphone app.

These are just some ways you can get started in performing your own brain surgery to remove unwanted thoughts and beliefs. If you want to go even further, I recommend this course by Joseph Clough to remove these beliefs even quicker, and move you towards your dream life much sooner than later. The Power of Hypnosis…And What it Can Do For You

January 26, 2015

I have always been intrigued by the concept of hypnosis. Ever since I was a teenager I have used it to enhance the quality of my life and remove some of the negative behaviors and habits I’ve had.

When you discuss hypnosis, it sometimes brings up negative ideas or misunderstandings. Some people still see hypnosis as someone swinging a pendulum and “getting sleepy”, or using it to make people do crazy things they have no idea they are doing. There are also some ethical and religious concerns, as some might see it as ungodly, or trying to control what God should be doing for you. For more about this question, check out the article I wrote recently, Is Hypnosis Appropriate For Christians?

The bottom line is that hypnosis can be extremely powerful and potentially life-changing. Its main goal is to influence the subconscious mind. It is this part of your mind that controls your beliefs, and ultimately your actions. If you have negative ideas in your subconscious, hypnosis can change them, and ultimately cause you to take action to create the positive results you are seeking.

I have been using hypnosis since I was a teenager. It has positively impacted my life in several different ways. Here are some examples:

  • It has brought me greater confidence. I was a mostly shy teenager that lacked confidence in myself. Using hypnosis consistently helped me become a person that I liked and others enjoyed being with. It still helps me maintain that confidence today.
  • It removed fears. I had some embarrassing fears that many teenagers don’t have. I used hypnosis with the intention to rid those fears, and they were gone in a matter of weeks.
  • It removed bad habits from my life.
  • It healed my body. I have used hypnosis to heal injuries and remove stress. In most cases, the healing was nearly immediate.

These are specific examples of how hypnosis has impacted me directly. I know others that have used this powerful tool to quit smoking, lose weight, and even find a better job. The potential is endless. Whatever it is you are trying to change or bring about in your life, you can use hypnosis to rapidly manifest your desires.

Up until recently, I mainly hypnotized myself. However, I have found some excellent programs that guide me and enhance the power of hypnosis. One person that I feel very comfortable with is Joseph Clough. Joseph is an internationally known hypnotist who provides a great deal of excellent information on personal development, along with hypnosis tracks to speed up the manifestation process. I love listening to his strong British accent, and he presents himself with the attitude of a friend just dropping by for a chat. I will say that he knows his stuff, and he knows it well. I have read his book, “Be Your Potential” and used his hypnosis tracks. He provides very simple mind-enhancing techniques that can be implemented immediately. The results soon follow.

For more information, here is his website… Joseph Clough.

If you are looking for another guided approach, I recommend this program… The Secret of Deliberate Creation.

I recommend you tap into the power of hypnosis. It has made positive impacts in my life and it will in yours as well. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Is Hypnosis Appropriate For Christians?

December 29, 2014

What do you think about the topic of hypnosis? Even though it is far more accepted and known in today’s society, it still carries an aura of mystery around it.

I became interested in hypnosis when I was 14 years old. My father found and began using a book on self-hypnosis. I too learned how to hypnotize myself and even as a teenager used it to remove fears, heal injuries, and build my confidence.

Fast-forward to today. It is far easier to hypnotize yourself as there are countless programs and videos available that do it for you. You can use hypnosis for changing your subconscious to accomplish anything you want to achieve in life.

As good and effective as hypnosis is, people still question not only its effectiveness but its ethical nature. I share an interesting conversation and concern from one of my teenage daughters. I am fortunate that all three of my girls are interested in living the proper Christian life. I was talking about a hypnotist I was listening to when my daughter asked the question… “Dad, we are Christians. Shouldn’t we be relying on God to change us instead of messing with hypnosis?”

I was impressed by her thoughtful question. I am glad that she would even challenge her father to defend her faith. It did not take me long to address her question with an answer that I’ve always used to defend using hypnosis since I’ve been a Christian.

So is hypnosis ok, or like more daughter says, should we fully rely on God without using any of these tricks? Here’s my answer….hypnosis is fine for anyone to use. It is not unethical, as long it is not used as a negative towards someone else and it is used in line with God’s will. Here are the two main reasons I explained to my daughter and to anyone else who has concerns, why hypnosis is right and good:

  1. Correct use of God’s free will – God has given us free will. It is up to us to use that free will in a responsible and productive manner. When we use hypnosis to gain more confidence, heal relationships, or improve our life in general, we are ultimately making ourselves more useful for accomplishing God’s purpose in our lives.
  2. Good stewardship – One of our responsibilities in life is to be the best possible stewards of God’s resources. One of the most powerful gifts He has provided for us is our mind. Using our thoughts and minds in a positive, efficient manner will bring us a blessed, and abundant life that we can share with others. When you use hypnosis to maximize the power of your mind, I believe you are maximizing your stewardship of this great gift God has given you.

My daughter accepted my explanation. Although she is still not sold on hypnosis, she agreed with my reasoning and realizes hypnosis is far from ungodly. I am not trying to convince you to use hypnosis (although I strongly recommend it). However, if you are a Christian with the same concerns or simply have your doubts about hypnosis whatever faith you practice, I hope this information addresses those concerns for you.

I am all for relying on God to bring us where we need to be in life. He should be the ultimate focus in bringing us to live the life we are meant to live. Yet I ask…why not maximize the power of the subconscious mind that God has provided for you. Hypnosis is not only ok, but it’s a powerful tool you can use to maximize the power and greatness of your life. Enjoy the blessings 🙂
