How to Become a Millionaire Instantly

December 5, 2018

They say “Love is more precious than gold”
Can’t be bought and it can’t be sold
I got love enough to spare
That makes me a millionaire

Chris Stapleton

I heard this song the other day, as I have many other days. However, this was the first time where I truly listened to the lyrics and made the connection to the message of the song. It says that it’s not gold, silver, or dollars that really makes us millionaires. Instead, it’s an abundance of love and great relationships that really makes us rich.

We would all love to have more money in our lives. However, taking from the message of this song, let us not focus on how we can bring more currency into our lives. Let us focus instead on that abundant love of God that inhabits all people and things. Let us appreciate the good we have, and the good in others. That would make us true millionaires.

Now, I am writing a part 2 to this for anyone inquiring about the dollars and cents side of a million dollars. My mind reading skills are telling me some people are feeling like they’ve been ripped off by my title. So is it possible to be a millionaire instantly? I say yes, but please listen to my reasoning.

Just like the example above about being loving and thankful, I believe we can be millionaires without having a cent in our hands or in the bank. It’s a matter of simply playing the part. Think about this for a minute. If you actually had a million dollars in the bank, how would that make you feel? For me, I would feel free to do the things I want to do. I would feel more confident. I would feel far less stress. I would certainly be thankful and would have the desire to help as many people as I could.

The key is to focus on these feelings instead of your circumstances. For a moment at least, ignore the fact that you may not actually have a million dollars. Can you still be thankful for the things you have? Can you still have the freedom to do at least something that you want to do? Can you act more confidently and joyfully? I believe the answers to all of these questions is yes! And I believe further, that if you act as you would if you were truly a millionaire, then that puts you at the status of well…. a millionaire!!

When you do this, a funny thing happens….more money actually ends up at your disposal!! It may not actually add up to a million dollars, at least not yet. However, when you live as close as you can to the million dollar lifestyle, you’ll be amazed of how much this can start to be a reality.

I very much appreciate the excellent reminder I received yesterday. The true millionaire is not always the one with the big bucks in the bank. It is the one who fully demonstrates an attitude of love, joy, and simply being the best they can be, living life freely and abundantly. Isn’t that what you would hopefully be doing if you had the money in your pocket? I wish you the best, and hope you feel like a million dollars today 🙂

How to Have More Wealth Than You Can Imagine

January 24, 2017

It is amazing how every time I ask God for answers He provides them. In many cases, the answers arrive rather quickly. I was recently praying for some extra money to help with some situations that have come up recently. I also prayed for the strength and peace to deal with the situation in a productive way.

When I pray, I find it extremely helpful to ask for some Bible verses that help build my faith and lead me in the right direction. In this case, I was immediately led to the following verse from Job 22:21. The NIV says, “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way, prosperity will come to you.” Exactly what I was looking for! However, it didn’t stop there. The Message version of this same verse really caught my attention… “Give in to God, come to terms with him and everything will turn out just fine. Let him tell you what to do; take his words to heart. Come back to God Almighty and he’ll rebuild your life. Clean house of everything evil. Relax your grip on your money and abandon your gold-plated luxury. God Almighty will be your treasure, more wealth than you can imagine.”

As I read this, I was in awe. The keys to what I was looking for (and perhaps what you are too) are all in this passage. Do you want more wealth than you can imagine? Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Submit to God – leave the details and hard work to Him. Just do what you feel like He is leading you to do.
  2. Listen to (or should I say read) His words. The more you read the Bible and seek your guidance and solutions there, the more clearly you will be led. I simply did a Google search for what I was looking for and found several guiding words besides these.
  3. Clean house of everything evil. Ask for forgiveness of your sins. He will forgive all and everything. He is only waiting for you to ask. Also, I take this as a cue to remove the negative thinking that may have been hampering me and instead think according to His word and promises.
  4. Avoid focusing on money (or whatever your negative circumstance is)– This seems a bit ironic. For me, it was what I was searching for. However, I realize more every day that the more I focus on God and His love and guidance instead of the money or whatever the problem is, the more abundance and solutions show up.

This all reminds me of another popular verse that sums it all up… Seek first the kingdom of God, and all else will be given to you (Matt 6:33). It’s very simple really. The more of your focus and care you put on God, the more He works for you and the darkness turns to light.

I have known this for a long time. I just needed another reminder and received it plus more. If you are struggling with money or any other negative situation in your life, follow the words of this verse. Seek God and let Him love and guide you. I know from experience that the peace and provision He provides is indeed more than you can imagine. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

What Blocks Are Holding You Back From Being Wealthy?

February 20, 2015

Raise your hand if you DO NOT want more money in your life. Just as I thought, few hands went up. We can all use more money and we can afford to be more wealthy. I am not saying money has to be the guiding force in our lives. Being happy and living the life God wants us to live is what we should most center our thoughts on. However, I cannot deny that more money and the freedom it brings not only can make you happier but can also help you do God’s will more effectively.

I have learned in recent years that receiving more money doesn’t have to be difficult. This has been proven, as I have received far more income in the past year than I ever have before. Yet the problem for me and many others is that we make it more difficult than it has to be. This is because we have mental blocks about money ingrained in our subconscious mind. These blocks prevent us from taking steps to increase our wealth.

I recently wrote an article that identifies some of these blocks and provides solutions to remove them and move you towards the wealth you are seeking. You can access the article here…

Why Am I Not Wealthy? And How Can I Change My Fortunes?

If you want to take an even more in-depth look at some of the blocks you may have about wealth, I found another excellent article by Tony Robbins. Click here for more info…

Don’t block yourself from enjoying the greater freedom that more wealth can bring. Instead, see yourself as worthy of this God-given freedom, and be sure to share it with those around you. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

How To Increase Your Blessings – Get a Bigger Container

December 20, 2013

I once read an excellent analogy about the power of expectation. Author Robert Anthony shared that the amount of blessings a person receives in life is in direct proportion to their level of expectation. For example, in the ocean of expectation, some arrive with a spoon, some with a bucket, and some with a large barrel. Obviously the person with the barrel will get the most from the ocean. They are aware of the vast abundance available and take as much from it as they can.

Today I read a similar story from John Bevere in his book “Relentless”. He provides the secenario of a sever famine hitting a part of the world. Then a generous country in a different part of the world brings barges and cargo planes full of fresh, healthy food. They release a statement to the citizens that they can provide as much food as the people can carry. As a result, people line up to take advantage. One person arrives with a picnic basket and gets two days worth of food for him and his family. Another brings a large sack to carry enough food that will feed his family for a week. Another person comes ready with a huge pickup truck and loads enough food for him, his family, and several neighborhoods for a month.

The lesson of this story is this…God’s blessings are unlimited and ready for us to receive. He is telling us to come and take as much of it as we can carry. Will you arrive with a small basket, a sack, the pickup truck, or the huge triple decker ship? The choice is yours, and your level of blessing will be in proportion with your level of readiness and expectation.

I also advise this…don’t let anyone talk you out of pursuing the greatest blessings in your life. In the above story, the people with the small baskets were resentful towards those that drove by with the big trucks. Did it do them well? I would say not. In the end, those who prepared for and expected the greatest blessing were the ones who ultimately received it and reaped the benefits.

I share this with you because at one time I was completely guilty of going to the ocean with a spoon, and bringing a small basket to the unlimited feast. I have learned though, that God is hoping I will come with the biggest container possible to reap His greatest blessings. He is actually disappointed when we arrive with the smallest container to take the least amount of His great gifts.

So where’s your large sized truck today? Drive to the place where you will find the greatest blessings and take all you can carry. Enjoy : )

An Abundance of Abundance

October 17, 2013

I would like to share this reminder from “The Secret” with you today… “All abundance begins to shine through a mind that is aware of its own infinite nature. There’s enough for everyone. See it. Believe it. It will show up for you”.

How much can you have? As much as you can imagine. I challenge myself and my readers to be aware of the great abundance of this universe and to know that you are part of it and it is part of you. You can be and have all that you can imagine. Enjoy this wonderful abundance : )

Sharing One Of Life’s Greatest Illusions

July 10, 2013

Please allow me to share one of life’s greatest illusions. It’s a 4 letter word that I consider just as bad as those other 4 letter words. What’s the word?

The word is….lack. It’s an idea I’ve often pondered on it when it comes to money, time, faith, etc. Many of you have thought lack when it comes to those things. Unfortunately, it’s a part of human nature.

After being told by a speaker that lack is simply an illusion, I really began to reflect on this idea. Is it a complete illusion? Maybe not. When you look at pictures of starving children and homeless people, the reality of lack is thrown right back at you. I wish I could say that I have answers for those situations, but I don’t.

On the other hand, I believe the idea of lack is one that we are not meant to have. I am talking about lack in terms of the mental perspective we have about it. Think about it. This universe was created with the idea of abundance. There are billions of stars, galaxies, heavenly bodies, etc. On this earth, there are virtually endless oceans, countless grains of sand, and enough money and natural resources to last for millions of years longer.

Since God created this universe and our own planet in the idea of abundance, don’t you think He intends that for your life? I began thinking about this and realized how often I was thinking in my own lack mentality. I was thinking about what I didn’t have instead of focusing on the abundance that I do have. I do have plenty of great things in my life!

The main point I want to share is that God’s mind and His ways are solely based on abundance. He knows no lack. Instead, it’s all about growth and abundance. We should have the same mindset. When we focus on lack, we are taking our conscious thinking away from the mind of God. We let our limited thinking ego get in the way of our unlimited spirit.

I challenge you to change your focus to the unlimited abundance of God. Let your thinking consist of the same idea of endless possibility, blessing, and infinity that your Creator lives and creates by.

When you realize that God is all about abundance and knows no boundaries, you will realize that lack is simply an illusion. It is simply your own mind getting away from where it really belongs…connected to its spiritual source.

I will say that I sometimes still fail this challenge. However, as I have gradually focused more on the concept of abundance instead of the illusion of lack, the abundance of good in my life has significantly increased. The same will happen for you. And that’s as real as it gets : )
