I’m going to keep things simple today. I’ve been struggling the past few days, feeling spiritually dead. I prayed for guidance this morning and I was reminded of this quote by Wayne Dyer… Focus on being a spiritual being having an occasional human experience instead of being a human being having an occasional spiritual experience.
This was certainly the wake-up call I was looking for! It helped me greatly, and if you’ve been struggling spiritually I hope it helps you too. Let your spiritual focus come first! Yes, we all need to deal with the occasional human experiences. However, when you do them from a spiritual point of view, they seem to go much smoother.
Remember, “seek first the kingdom of God and all else is added onto you.” Let your experience be a spiritual one today, and let the spiritual presence guide you everywhere you go. Enjoy the blessings 🙂
Thanks for sharing so honestly–those who can dare to admit to feeling vulnerable actually demonstrate great courage! I believe in you! I know that the True Self that you are is strength itself! Your passage about “seeking ye first the kingdom” will help point others to that dimension within themselves that is transcendent—beyond all fear! Blessings!
Thank you! I believe there is no hiding our vulnerabilty. However, I also believe God and His power are always with us. I very much appreciate the feedback. Have a wonderful day 🙂
You’re so very welcome. I agree with you that God and His power are always with us–as near as the pulse in our neck. Wishing you a great day too!
You should try fasting. I have tried it for the first time and have been more connected to the spiritual realm than ever. Great way of self discipline and getting your message from God. I’m fasting for 12 hours for the first time. At 8pm ET I’ll be able to eat.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have done that in the past. I did a Jewish fast (no food from sunrise to sunset). You’re right, it does enhance the Godly connection 🙂
I am now finally eating. A healthy salad. Spinach, cucumbers, chick peas, green pepper, red onion and tomatoes. And for a snack dried apples. 💯
Sounds awesome! Enjoy 🙂
Thanks I did. The only downfall is you get hungry again since vegetables digest fast. And I’m limited with cash but overall I’m doing well.
