I have written often about the power of affirmations. If you are not familiar, positive affirmations are simply words and phrases you repeat to yourself to change your beliefs about something. For example, if you are trying to gain confidence, you can repeat an affirmation such as… I am confident in every situation, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, etc.
Affirmations can be a very powerful tool in creating the beliefs you need to be successful. The problem is that sometimes they can create resistance in the mind, which creates more harm than good. For example, you affirm… I am extremely wealthy. Then your mind takes you immediately to your almost empty bank account. A voice inside your head says…wealthy? Who are you kidding? You are far from wealthy! Then instead of feeling positive, you actually experience negative thoughts and feelings which pull you further away from your goals.
I have written other articles about this (check out How to Avoid the Negative Effects of Positive Affirmations ) which explain how to get around these negative experiences and get the most out of using positive affirmations. I would like to share another excellent piece of advice about this I learned while reading an excellent book called “Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want” by Michael Losier. He suggests using the phrase “I am in the process of…”. When you use this phrase there is no room for negative disagreements to creep up. You are stating a fact. For example, if you are struggling with your weight, using an affirmation “I am at my ideal weight” may create some resistance as you look in the mirror and see the body that you don’t desire. However, if you say “I am in the process of reaching my ideal weight”, you are not saying anything that is not true. Your mind cannot disagree with the fact that you are in this process. In addition, you are placing your focus on your ideal weight. And according to the Law of Attraction, you manifest what you place your focus on.
This is a great help to me, and I share it in hopes it impacts you positively as well. I suggest repeating your affirmations several times a day, using the phrase “I am in the process of” to qualify it. You will find that you can focus on your desire with optimism that you are on your way to manifesting it instead of doubting as you feel you are lying about your present situation. It will help you maintain the positive feelings that speed up the process even more. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Every once in awhile I feel the need to get back to the basics. When it comes to reaching success in manifesting my desires, I can’t think of a more simple formula than this one here. Yet we (myself included) often overcomplicate the process and try to do too much. We think negative, lacking thoughts which create negative emotions, and we don’t envision the success we crave. When we don’t succeed we begin to doubt, and that brings us even further away from our goals.
Instead of pulling yourself away from your desires, follow this formula to bring yourself closer. Think success thoughts. Enjoy the positive feelings that correspond to those thoughts. Use your imagination to bring you ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO BE, AND BE ALL YOU WANT TO BE. That’s the wonderful part about our imagination 🙂
The more you think positively and feel positive emotions, the more you set yourself up for the success you are seeking. If you look for them, positive opportunities will begin to appear at your doorstep. It is then up to you to take the necessary action on those opportunities, resulting in success. This success then begins to snowball, and you begin living the life of your dreams.
Am I oversimplifying this process? In the fact that it can be described in more than 200 words, yes. However, in essence, it is this simple. When you consciously monitor your thoughts and emotions to keep them positive far more often than negative, you are indeed setting yourself up to be used by God for His greatness. He is doing most of the work while you just take the small and simple steps you need to take. IT CAN BE THAT SIMPLE!
I challenge you today to focus on this quote and follow its simple instructions. Then watch the miracles take place. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

The concept of hypnosis has a powerful, yet mysterious appeal to it. Many are aware of the amazing, healing, and potentially life-changing benefits of hypnosis. However, there are still many that hold back, thinking only of someone swinging a pendulum to make you sleepy, or a stage act where people are made to do crazy things they would never do on their own.
I have experienced the amazing benefits of hypnosis since I was 14 years old. My father brought home a book that teaches people how to hypnotize themselves. I was hooked, and in a short time I used it to cure fears, develop personal confidence, and even heal injuries. I still use it today to reach my goals.
Self-hypnosis is very easy to do. And to ease any fears, you are constantly aware of where you are and what you are doing, and it does not take a large amount of time. I know hypnosis works, and in the following article, I present 5 easy steps to safely hypnotize yourself and experience the wonderful benefits of hypnosis. You can access the article here…
