You Don’t Have to See It To Believe It

June 30, 2014

For we live by faith, not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7

You hear it all the time…seeing is believing. However, I have recently been challenged to turn this statement around. I have been advised by many prominent authors that in order to see my goals realized, I need to believe it first.

What’s your greatest desire today? I challenge you to believe in its realization right now. This is not easy to do. It’s hard to believe that your goal is being accomplished when you see absolutely no evidence of it anywhere. However, it’s this very faith that will bring it into reality. Use your imagination. What do you see? What does the realized goal look like; sound like; smell like? How are you reacting? How are others reacting? Another key is, as you imagine the beauty of your realized goal, FEEL IT! Carry these wonderful feelings with you as often possible. Constantly feel the joy, gratitude, and satisfaction you would feel if you already had what you desire. For more on this topic, you can check out this article… A Place You Can Have All of Your Desires.

The more you live with the faith of your goal being realized, despite the outward evidence, the sooner it will happen for real. Another Bible verse (my personal favorite) says “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” Mark 11:24. When you imagine and feel your goal being realized, you are believing that you received it. Indeed it will be yours.

I challenge you today to believe in the fulfillment of your desires. Do not focus on what you see. Instead, focus on the desire and feel wonderful about it. Thank God in advance for His blessing and live as if you have what you desire. Before you know it, you will believe it AND see it. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

What Is It Like To Be A Human Who Is ‘Present’?

June 29, 2014

I have been making a strong effort to place my full focus on the present moment. It is one of the greatest ways we can add power and joy to our lives.

I know God is helping me because He places great information like this in my path. I share it with you in hopes you will receive the same empowerment that I have 🙂

Also ‘fully Present’ / ‘having Presence’ / ‘Being in the Present moment”/ ‘In the here and now’ / ‘in the NOW’.

What is this like? My best description is a list, as I realize it can be difficult to imagine for those who have not yet attained it, and can have little or some idea only of what all the fuss is about! 😉  It sure is the place to Be!

I have put everything I could think of that may help, some word definitions overlap, but some may trigger in some of you that others do not, so I include them. Also I include some maintenance thereof, assisting tips.  I personally like to do zero negativity also, for all the extra benefits that gives Life, the Universe and Everything!

🙂  So, to Be present is :

Being in a state of : ~-

-Wonderment.
-Bliss.
-Gratitude
-Joyful acceptance of…

What Separates Successful People From Everyone Else Is The Incredible Faith They Have

June 26, 2014

I felt the need to share this incredible truth…

Whose Desire Is It Anyway?

June 23, 2014

We all have desires and goals that we want to see realized. We do what we know how to do to make it happen, and we pray hoping that our prayer will be answered, wondering if we will see our dream come true.

I am realizing more each day that the last part is a mistake. No, not praying. That’s the best way to realize your wish. It’s the other part, hoping and wondering that it will be answered.

I realize we need to follow God’s will and not our own. I also realize that God will sometimes say no to our prayers because He has something better for us. I’ve seen this in my own life many times which is why, as frustrating as it can be to wait sometimes, I welcome God’s alternatives in my life.

They key I’ve learned in my study over the past few years is this…when I have a desire in my life that is within God’s biblical guidelines, HE IS THE ONE THAT PUT IT THERE!! I am realizing more and more that God is prompting me with these desires because He wants to use them for His glory in my life. It is the spiritual part of me trying to express itself through this individual.

For example, my dream is to have the freedom of working my own schedule, and making hundreds of thousands of dollars by impacting thousands of people a day. There is no part of this that is outside of God’s guidelines. He doesn’t want me working crazy hours being away from friends and family like I sometimes am now. He wants me to enjoy abundance and freedom with my finances, and craves the opportunity to use this human creation to bring Him glory. I know it is Him that has influenced me with this desire.

So what do I do now? Get out of the way and allow it to happen. Since the desire is from God, I know He wants it to be realized as much as I do. So I do my part by remaining in prayer and paying attention for opportunities I can act on. The rest is up to Him to make it happen. It’s as simple as that.

Are you in the same situation today? Do you have this burning desire for changes and great things in your life? I recommend you focus on them and realize that they are coming from God. Also realize that He wants them to take place as much as you do, and if you let Him, He will make it happen. It’s up to you to pray and seek opportunities to act. Then just let Him do His will through you and let the miracles take place.

You can stop your dreams and desires from being realized. You can do this by thinking negatively, doubting, or trying to do everything on your own. However, you cannot stop God from realizing His desires. And when you make your desires His (which they are already anyway), and let Him do His glorious work, it’s only a matter of time before those intentions come true.

So what’s your wish? Pray and make it known to God, thank Him for giving it to you, and let Him make it happen. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

Inspiration For Those About to Give Up

June 18, 2014

It’s easy to get frustrated when we aren’t reaching our dreams, isn’t it? I’ve been there and I know how it feels. However, I’ve also learned that in many cases I was closer than I thought to reaching my goals.

I was reading a devotional from my church and found this inspirational poem. The author is unknown, but I still believe the poem is worth sharing to anyone who believes they are far from realizing their desires. Here it is:

When things go wrong, and they sometimes will, and the road you’re trudging seems all uphill

When funds are low and the debts are high and you want to smile but have to sigh

When things are pressing you down a bit, rest if you must, but don’t you quit!

Life is strange with its twists and turns, as everyone of us sometimes learns

And many failures turn about when he might have won if he stuck it out

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow; you might succeed with another blow

Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man. Often the struggler has given up when he might have captured the victor’s cup.

And he learned too late, when the night slipped down, how close he was to the victor’s crown

Success is failure turned inside out-the silver tint of the clouds of doubt

You never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems afar

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit-it’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit

Remember…success may be closer than you think. Keep fighting just a little longer and you very well may reach the success you crave. Enjoy the blessings 🙂

A Minute by Minute Guide to Maximizing Time Management

June 9, 2014

Let’s start by doing a little calculation. You may want to do it yourself too since I am certainly not a math wiz. Anyway, how many minutes are in a day? 60 minutes in an hour x 24 hours = 1440. Now, considering we are asleep for about 440 of those minutes, let’s say we have 1000 useable ones a day.

1000 minutes seems like a lot. And it is! The problem is they don’t seem like a lot because we often don’t use them wisely. That is the key…wisely managing the time we have, no matter how little it is. I’ve shared here on more than one occasion a tip I learned about breaking the day into 15 minute chunks. 15 is a good number because you can get a significant amount done, and a short enough time that if you catch yourself after wasting a few of these blocks, you can still make it up and accomplish something.

So why am I talking about 1 minute blocks today? I was reminded about something I heard from Abraham Hicks about manifesting your desires. Abraham said that it takes only 1 minute of solid, focused visualization to begin the process of manifesting your goal. I don’t know how this number was determined, but I do know that Abraham Hicks is one of the great pros for manifesting greatness in life. As a result, I am listening to whatever is being suggested.

In thinking about this, I realize how many minutes, hours, and even days I let slip by without taking time to visualize life the way I want it to be. When we remove our focus on what our life is now and all the things we don’t want, and place it instead on what we do want our life to be, it begins to manifest into the desired state. And all it takes is a minute at a time to visualize that greatness.

I am not saying that we need to visualize and focus on every single one of these minutes. The way our human mind is wired makes this virtually impossible. However, use at least some. We have a thousand minutes a day! Even if you find it difficult, you can start with a small number. For example, start with just 10 minutes a day of solid visualization. Then as you become more proficient you can increase that time. If you stick to it, you will begin to see positive results, which will inspire you to continue. The key is staying focused on your goal, and taking small chunks of time during the day, even if those chunks are as small as a minute. It’s much better than going thousands of minutes without spending time to pray for your greatness and see it in your mind.

How many minutes will you use to build your greatness today? The answer is totally in your control. So is your wonderful future. Enjoy the blessings 🙂
